Elizabeth Continues To Rake In Chips

Shannon Elizabeth
Shannon Elizabeth
Shannon Elizabeth has just eliminated an opponent on a board of {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Elizabeth held {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{6-Spades} which held against her opponent's {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

A few moments later Elizabeth was involved in another hand where she called a bet on the river holding {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} on a board of {7-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Her opponent said "set of sevens" and showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}. Elizabeth tapped the table and defeatedly showed her aces, not realizing that she held actually held a low until the rest of the table pointed it out to her! She gladly accepted half of the pot as she sits comfortably with about 8,500 chips.

Robert Mizrachi

Robert Mizrachi bet all three streets on a board of {10-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}. When he was called on the river he said "flush" revealing {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to play the {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} instead of his aces. It was enough to take down the pot as he adds to his growing chip stack of 12,500 chips.

Ted Forrest Out

Ted Forrest was all in on the turn with a board of {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} . Forrest showed {A-Spades} {6-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} for two pair and a weak low. His opponent showed {2-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} for a lower two pair and a 7-6 low. The river {2-Hearts} gave his opponent a full house and send Forrest to the rail.
