Mizrachi Chops

Holding {2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{J-Clubs} Robert Mizrachi has chopped a three-way pot on a board of {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. His opponent showed {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a full house to collect the high, Mizrachi took down the low, and the third opponent mucked his cards.

Mizrachi now sits with 11,000 chips.

Men the Master Upset

Men "The Master" Nguyen seems a little upset over the choice of dealers for this year's World Series of Poker. He has been very vocal at his displeasure in dealer competency. Nguyen has been seen taking the chip stack from the dealer and split the pots himself quite frequently.

Snead's Opponent Scoops on River

After betting the whole way on a board of {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, Paul Snead was then raised on the river by his opponent. Snead made the call with {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for a straight and decent low, but his opponent showed {A-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a rivered full house to go with a better low to scoop the entire pot.

After the hand Snead slips to just under 8,000 chips.

Paul Wolfe Chops

We caught the action on the turn with the board reading {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}. The action was capped between a player and Paul Wolfe who is currently amongst our chip leaders.

The river brought the {K-Diamonds} and Wolfe extracted one more bet from his opponent before the cards were tabled.

Wolfe held {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nut straight but his opponent held {2-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Spades} for the nut low. They chop up the pot and Wolfe maintains his position on about 11,000 chips.

Brunson Stuck In The Middle

We overheard two players involved in a heated argument over the correct way to split up pots. One player was admonishing the dealer, while the other player was telling the player to be quiet and let the dealer do his job.

They two players are holding up the game while they argue, and seated in between the two is none other than Todd Brunson who looks visibly depressed at being caught in the middle of such nonsense!

All Hail King Meehan

"Minneapolis" Jim Meehan continues his verbal assault on his table. He began by ranting about everything from greed in large corporations to the rake that players pay at the poker table. He summed up by saying, "When I'm king, things will be different."
