Hellmuth Goes Bust

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth
Raphael Zimmerman raised to 3,500 from under the gun. Action folded over to Phil Hellmuth in the big blind and he moved all in for 18,500. Zimmerman made the call. Both players then drew one card.

Zimmerman showed {8-?} {6-?} {5-?} {3-?} and drew a {7-?}. Hellmuth showed {9-?} {8-?} {5-?} {3-?} and knew he was drawing dead. His draw card was a {10-?}. Hellmuth jerked himself up from his seat while the massage therapist was quick to get out of the way so she wouldn't get knocked over. Hellmuth stood and stared at the middle of the table for a minute before Tony G looked over.

"What! What happened? Did you bust, Phil?" said Tony. "Oh no, take a picture, quick"

"I don't want to hear it, Tony," Phil said. "You can stop trying to get attention, there's no press around, Tony." He went on to say, "I just bubbled, I don't want to hear it right now."

Tony G stood up and walked over by Phil's table, "No, the good news is you didn't bubble, I'm going to bubble. If you wait, you'll see it, and we can hold hands and walk out together."

Phil tossed his jacket on and collected his belongings before exiting the room, finishing just two spots off the money.

Greenstein stood pat while Hellmuth drew one card.

Barry showed {J-?} {8-?} {7-?} {6-?} {4-?} and Phil mucked his hand. Greenstein now has 24,000 chips. Hellmuth dropped to 21,000.

Erdman Out

From under the gun, Yan Chen raised to 3,600. Travis Erdman reraised to 10,600 total. Chen then moved all in and Erdman called off his last 35,000. Both players stood pat.

Chen revealed {8-?} {7-?} {6-?} {3-?} {2-?} and Erdman held {9-?} {7-?} {6-?} {3-?} {2-?}. Erdman was busted from the tournament while Chen took a massive boost to his stack and now has 160,000 chips.

Tony G - The Bodyguard

Yan Chen fired a bet of 8,000 into Phil Hellmuth after the draw. Helluth ripped his earbud headphones from his ears and jumped from his chair. The two have been jawing back and forth all day. Hellmuth came back to his seat and asked, "Did you make anything?"

Chen sat quietly as Hellmuth tanked. Eventually, Hellmuth tossed in the call.

Chen revealed {9-?} {8-?} {4-?} {3-?} {2-?} and Hellmuth slam-mucked his hand in the middle of the table and stormed out of his chair.

After he sat back down, Tony G yelled over from an adjacent table, "Phil, Phil, what's happening, Phil? What are they doing to do over there?"

Hellmuth didn't respond, but Tony G continued. "Phil, are you okay? I want you to know I'm here to protect you Phil, the fans are worried about you."

A few moments went by and then Tony strolled over to Phil's table. He leaned over and asked Chen, "Are you hurting him?" and pointed to Hellmuth. Hellmuth got upset and called the floor and made them escort Tony back over his own table.

"We talked about this in the meeting, he can't be over here," claimed Hellmuth.
