The Bald Eagle Soars

A bald eagle in flight isn't very commonly witnessed. It's also not often we see Steve Zolotow getting his money in, but we just just witnessed one of those rare times.

, Zolotow bet out 3,300 before his opponent raised enough to put Zolotow all in. Zolotow made the call and held the

. Zolotow was all in on the flop for 6,675 total.

Reslock Rising
Well, there was at least one person taking advantage of the field not being very interested in the tournament. Chris Reslock busted an opponent with a big stack at his table and upped his stack to 55,000.
He followed that up by busting another player in Pot-Limit Omaha. The board read 
and Reslock took his opponent's last 3,700 with 
-X-X.
He is up to about 62,000.
Hats Off to Ferguson
Well, the game has just ended and play is resuming to normal now. Chris Ferguson, who had a seat directly next to the TV, took his hat off for the last few minutes so that he would not block the view of others watching.
Still Grinding
Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi just wrapped up his run in the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship where he made the final table and took eighth place. That finish was worth $49,733, but that's not enough money to keep Mizrachi from playing this $2,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em/Omaha event. Mizrachi has pulled a chair up and is seated out in the field. He's already built his stack up to about 11,000, but like everyone else, seems much more interested in the basketball game going on.
Stay Tuned For The Next Commercial Break Or Timeout
Walking through the field with a good portion of the 300+ players remaining fixated on the Celtics-Lakers game at the moment is a dangerous proposition. Players are hollering for others to sit down and move out of the way.
Everyone seems to have an interest in the game. Floor staff, dealers, janitors, and even massueses have all been caught turning an eye to the game.
Pause the Clock?
The players in this event could seem to care less about two cards, four cards, flops, turns or rivers and are more fixated on the NBA Finals Game 7 that's going on right now. Many of the players are completely turned around in their seats, some have even left their tables to head towards the TV screens. Phil Gordon specifially went and asked the tournament director if they could stop they event for the last three minutes of the game and he kind of chuckled at the request. If this happens, we'll let you know, but for now the players just have to play and watch, or just watch.

Negreanu Takes Out Lellouche

Five players saw a flop of 
. Daniel Negreanu's bet of 600 chased out everybody except Antony Lellouche. The turn was the and Negreanu bet 1,600. Lellouche popped it to 5,075 and the rest of Negreanu's stack was in the pot a half second later.
Lellouche thought it over and after about a minute, he made the all-in call.
