Flush for Kling

We got to the table with the board reading {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} {x} and Lauren Kling all in for about 3,000, after her opponent had bet 900. She eventually got called and turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} to the table for the nut-flush.

She's with about 7,000 chips.

Swimming With the Devilfishes

Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott has made an early exit from today's event. After pre-flop action that was three-bet to 900, the flop delivered {a-}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Ulliott shoved for his last 2,725. He was called by Mike "Chico" Dufloth.

Ulliott: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Dufloth: {q-}{q-}

Ulliott was working with plenty of outs, and found one on the turn, which was {4-Diamonds}. Happy times weren't to last, though. Dufloth filled with {a-} on the river.

Now That's Power Poker

Shaun Deeb won an unexpected pot when he raised to 200 in late position with the only call coming from the big blind.

The board was checked down on all streets, coming to read {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Deeb, unlikely to have expected to win the hand, showed {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}. However his opponent mucked and Deeb is now sitting at 8,500 in chips.

Praz Sitting at 9,000

Praz Bansi had worked his way up to over twice his starting stack, but lost some of them in this latest hand where hand he opened to 125 from middle position and was called by both the button and big blind.

The flop came down {9-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Action was checked to Bansi, who bet 300 into the pot and was called by both players.

The table checked around when the {2-Hearts} came on the turn.

The river was the {8-Spades}. Bansi checked and the button bet 1,150. After tanking for a while, Bansi went to make the call, hesitated, and finally committed. Bansi mucked when he saw the button's {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Dario Minieri Double Up

Team PokerStars Pro Dario Minieri saw the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop along with two other players. With 450 chips on it, the small blind bet out 300 and Minieri, who was in the big blind to being the hand, made a raise to 1,125. The next player folded and then the small blind folded as well. The young Italian showed the {8-Spades}{5-Spades} for the bluff.

A few hands later the board was {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Minieri showed down the {5-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a straight to best his opponent's {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and he now has 12,000 chips.

Michael Gracz in the Lead

The board showed {5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and 5,000 chips were in the pot when Gracz went all in for about 7,000 chips on the button. Gracz got called and turned up the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for a set of queens on the river. His opponent mucked and Gracz moved himself up to an early chip lead with 20,000 chips.
