David Tuthill Limp Shoves for a Huge Pot

Everyone had folded when action came around to David Tuthill, who limped from the small blind. When the big blind made a raise, Tuthill shoved all in, having his opponent covered. The big blind called and it was time to see some cards.

Tuthill: {a-}{a-}
Opponent: {8-}{8-}

Any concern Tuthill may have had about being sucked out on was largely put to rest when the flop came {4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and was followed by the {a-Hearts} on the turn and the {j-Clubs} on the river.

Tuthill eliminated his opponent and is now up to 240,000.

Elizabeth Indig Not Ready to Go Home

Elizabeth Indig was in rough shape with about 3,000 in chips when a player in middle position raised to 7,000. She called, putting herself all in when the player on the button re-raised to 25,000 with the middle position player calling. The initial raiser check-folded to the button's all-in bet on a flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. The players flipped over their cards, Indig showed {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and was ahead of the button's {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. She stayed ahead and was up to 19,000.

Not too long afterwards she got it all in again and doubled to 40,000.

Chris Moorman Loses Big Pot

Chris Moorman was under the gun when he made it 7,800 to go. Action was folded around to Hugh Bell who was in the big blind and called.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Bell checked and Moorman bet 11,500 with Bell making the call.

Bell also checked the {j-Clubs} on the turn, and moved all in after Moorman bet 29,500. Moorman looked to be considering his options for a while before folding.

Moorman is now down to about 201,000 while Bell has about 170,000.

Brooks Gives Up 18,000

Randall Brooks opened under the gun for a raise to 8,000. Players folded around to the big blind who called to see a flop of {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Both players checked the turn's {4-Diamonds} as well as the river's {3-Hearts}. When the small blind player bet 10,000 after the river, Brooks called and mucked when he saw his opponent's {5-Clubs}{3-Spades}.
