With about 18,000 in the pot on a board of , Bertrand Grospellier fired 13,300 and Isaac Haxton called. The river card was the and Grospellier checked. Haxton fired 34,300 and then Grospellier raised to 86,800. After a few minutes in the tank, Haxton made the call with the and Grospellier mucked.
Grospellier dropped to just 37,000 while Haxton moved to 290,000.
Dario Minieri was all in for about 25,000 and up against fellow Team PokerStars Pro Ivan Demidov. Minieri held the and Demidov the .
The board ran out and the battle of these two Team PokerStars members went to the Russian pro Demidov as he moved to 250,000 in chips. Minieri hit the rail.
Following an open-raise to 3,600 from the cutoff, Dan Shak decided to commit his last 23,000 from the small blind. It was then with Dave Sands in the big blind and he asked for a count of the cutoff player, before grabbing a stack of orange and plonking it into the middle. The cutoff folded pocket threes face up as Shak and Sands revealed their holdings.

Shak needed an ace but he was far from it on the board. Sands made a set of tens and Shak was sent to the exit.
"Wow you had pocket threes? Lucky you didn't limp!" exclaimed Sands to the cutoff player, but he's happy enough to now be stacking up 375,000 chips.
On the flop of , Justin Bonomo fired a bet of 9,500 into two opponents. First up was Dani Stern and he made the call. Steve Brecher was next and went into the tank. He folded after about a minute and off to the turn the remaining two went.
The turn added the to the board and a bet of 24,000 was put out by Bonomo. Stern didn't take long to fold his hand and Bonomo scooped the pot, moving to 180,000 in chips. Stern dropped back to 108,000.
Sam Trickett has found a whole other gear and is winning almost every pot at his table right now. Here is but one example of how he is running over his opponents.
On a flop, Eli Elezra checked to Trickett, who bet 6,000. Elezra raised to 15,000 and Trickett three-bet to 50,000. Elezra open-folded and Trickett was happy to show the bluff with . He is up to 448,000 and is the current chip leader.
Jared Jaffee and Chris Oliver took a heads-up flop of and Jaffee came out swinging with a bet of 15,000. Oliver made the call and the turn fell the . Jaffee fired another bet worth 20,000. Oliver once again tossed out calling chips as the river fell the .
Jaffee decided to fire a third barrel worth 29,000 but Oliver quickly matched the bet. Jaffee wasn't happy as he tossed his cards directly into the muck. Oliver showed for two pair to take it and move up to 320,000. Jaffee is back down to 81,000.
Matt Glantz checked to Barry Greenstein on the flop of . Greenstein fired 7,000 and the next player folded. Glantz made the call.

The river was the and Glantz fired 18,000. Greenstein made the call and won the pot with . Once he made the call on the end, Glantz announced, "You got it," and mucked his hand.
Gavin Smith unfortunately won't be winning his second bracelet of the summer in this event. He just made his exit after his failed to improve against his opponent's pocket kings.
