Lee Markholt Eliminated by Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened for 3,500 from the cutoff and Lee Markholt three-bet from the big blind to 11,500. Negreanu grabbed a tower of his orange 5,000-denomination chips and pushed them out, setting Markholt all-in. He made the call.

Negreanu {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Markholt {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Markholt did not improve on the {4-Hearts}{K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} board and was eliminated while Negreanu increased his stack to 295,000.

Appreciation from Ivey

"Just for you, Phil," said Wong.

"Appreciate it," responded Ivey.

Galfond Takes Late Pot To Dinner

Catching the action on the turn on a board of {6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Phil Galfond fired out a bet of 4,300 before Bertrand Grospellier made it 11,600 to go. Galfond made the call before checking the {8-Clubs} river. Grospellier fired out 17,700 and Galfond made the call.

Grospellier didn't like the call as he mucked his cards as Galfond opened {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for top pair to take it down. Grospellier slips to 183,000 with Galfond up to 215,000.

Montgomery Cripples Elias

Darren Elias made it 2,500 to go from under-the-gun, Scott Montgomery called on the button and Sorel Mizzi called from the big blind.

Mizzi checked the {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop over to Elias, who bet 4,800. Montgomery called and Mizzi folded. The turn was the {2-Hearts}. Elias checked, Montgomery bet 7,500 and Elias called. The river was the {J-Diamonds} and Elias check-called another 15,000.

Montgomery turned up pocket queens and Elias mucked. He's down to 7,500 while Montgomery is up to 70,000.

Seiver Won't Show

From under the gun, Scott Seiver raised it up to 2,600 before Bill Jordanou popped it to 8,500 from the hijack position. Seiver made the call.

The flop landed {8-Spades}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Seiver checked to Jordanou who bet 8,500. Seiver responded by grabbing a fist-full of orange 5,000-denomination chips and slamming them into the middle. Jordanou went into the tank with a decision for his tournament.

Jordanou tried the "show if I fold?" line, but Seiver just shook his head. Eventually the clock was called and Jordnaou was forced to fold. He's down to 34,000 with Seiver up to 200,000.
