Jean-Robert Running It Up

Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

We always see (and hear) Jean-Robert Bellande at the poker table, but he hasn't had a ton of success so far at this year's WSOP. Now however, he is near the top of our counts here early on Day 1.

After a few recent hands he is up over 60,000 and no doubt one of our chip leaders. We will be sure to keep you posted on how he does the rest of the day.

Rousso Out

Preflop, Vanessa Rousso raised it up to 700 and a player from the button re-raised it up to 1,675 and she called.

The flop came down {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Rousso checked, the late position player bet 1,110 and she called. The turn was the {K-Spades} and again the late position player bet out 2,600 and she called.

The river was the {8-Spades} and she checked for a third time. The late position player went all in and she called.

He tabled {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} for the rivered nut flush and Rousso mucked and hit the rail.
