The board read which lead to a check from the big blind and an early position player, a bet from the middle position player, a raise from Matt Hawrilenko in late position, and a three bet from the big blind. The table then folded around to Hawrilenko and he completed. It was now heads up going to the turn.
The on fourth street saw a bet from the big blind and a call from Hawrilenko. The river saw the same thing, a bet from the big blind and Hawrilenko begrudgingly calling.
The big blind flipped over and that was enough to take the pot.
As we were walking through the tables, we noticed a lot of poker talent packed onto a single table.
Over in the tan section we have a table featuring Chad Brown, Ryan D'Angelo, Scott Montgomery and Barry Greenstein. Those four players alone have more than $15,000,000 in poker tournament winnings combined.
While walking through the sections here we noticed Jean-Robert Bellande involved in a large pot. The board read and Bellande faced a bet of about 3,500 after his opponent on the button had gone all in. Bellande went into the tank for a few moments before announcing call.
The button player flipped over for a very strong ace high. Bellande countered with , a pair of eights and the winning hand.
Bellande then gave the table a lesson in playing against him by saying "don't bluff a donkey".
A player under-the-gun limped and action folded around to Yevgeniy Timoshenko in the hijack, who raised to 400. The player on the button called, as did the limper.
The flop brought and all three players checked. When the fell on the turn, it was checked to Timoshenko who decided to fire 950 into the middle. The player on the button called, but the under-the-gun player opted to fold.
The completed the board and Timoshenko cut out a bet to 1,400 and slid it into the middle. It was too much for Timoshenko's remaining opponent, who folded.
Timoshenko is still hovering around the starting stack of 7,500.
We caught up with the action on a flop with four players. The player in the big checked to Jonathan Duhamel, who was under-the-gun. Duhamel fired 350 into the middle and was called by the players in both the cutoff and button. The big blind folded.
The turn brought the and Duhamel fired again - this time for 850. Both of his opponents quickly released and Duhamel dragged the pot.
Duhamel has chipped up a little since the day began and is sitting on 7,800.
Four players limped and action was on Rep Porter in the small blind who raised. Randy Lew in the big blind called and so did everyone else.
The flop came allowing Porter to bet out and Lew to raise. A player in early position made the call while the three late position players folded. Porter made the call and was granted access to the turn.
The on the turn brought a check from Porter, and Lew bet out. The early position player called as did Porter. The on the river saw another check from Porter and a bet from Lew. The early position player folded while Porter threw out a call.
Lew turned over which was seemingly good enough as Porter mucked his hand.
A player under-the-gun raised and action folded around to the player in the small blind, who called. Jonathan Racener also came along from the big blind.
The flop came and both blinds checked to the original raiser, who bet. The small blind folded, but Racener called. The turn brought a and Racener again check-called. It was more of the same on the river, as Racener check-called a final time.
Racener's opponent flipped over and it was good as Racener mucked.
