The flop read and Marvin Rettenmaier bet out 2,375 from middle position after his opponent had checked to him. The early position player opted to move all in for around 15,000 and Rettenmaier made the call.
Rettenmaier:
Opponent:
Rettenmaier held top two pair while his opponent held top pair with a gut-shot straight draw. If Rettenmaier could avoid a queen he would win a sizable pot. The on the turn and the on the river sealed the deal and Rettenmaier now sits with around 85,000

With just 387 players remaining, the Red and Bronze sections of the Amazon room, look desolate. All of the players have been squeezed into the Silver and Gold sections and here is the news from the Silver part of that combination.
First some eliminations.
Newly crowned two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, Carter Phillips, has been eliminated. He moved his last few big blinds into the pot holding and was pipped to the post by the of his opponent.
Tony Dunst has seventeen WSOP cashes to his name and that is how it is going to remain (until tomorrow at least). Dunst squeezing his last ounces of blood out of his stack with only to run into .
Ryan Julius was seated on the shoulder of Dunst all day, and he too has been eliminated. Julius four-betting with before suffering the same fate as Dunst when he ran into a pair of aces.
Andrey Gulyy was our early chip leader, but he too has been driven into an early grave. Gulyy squeezing with only to run into the brick wall cemented by the of Justin Young and Gulyy was out.
Also out are Chris Brammers conqueror Kharim Lehoussine, high-roller Igor Kurganov, Thibaud Guenegou, Michael Telker and Roberto Romanello.
Stuart Rutter was nearly joining them when he fell as low as 3,975, but he managed to double up with v and now has a 9,500 chip stack. Chris Moorman is eating people alive as he moves up to 90,000, Jordan Young is also growing his stack quicker than the world Jenga champion but none have more chips than Fabrizio Gonzalez. The Uruguayan has 100,000 chips and leads the Silver Section.

We don't know exactly how the action went, but what we do know is Angel Guillen managed to get all in and at risk.
Guillen:
Opponent:
The board came and Guillen's pair of tens were not able to catch up and he was subsequently eliminated.

René Angélil three-bet to 5,400 from the small blind after his opponent made it 2,400 from the button. The button made the call and both players were allowed to see the flop.
The flop came and Angélil checked. The button fired out for 4,000 and Angélil quickly made it 14,000. The button then grabbed up all of his chips and pushed them in the middle. Angélil only needed to put in about 5,000 more and he did just that.
Angélil:
Opponent:
As long as a spade didn't land on the turn or the river Angélil would be awarded the pot. The on the turn wasn't a spade, but it did give the button another out. Now any ten could hit and Angélil would forfeit the pot. The river though allowed Angélil to breathe easy, as he had won the pot.

There are 315 players left with an average stack of 38,262 and here is the news from the Gold Section of the Brasilia Room.
Toby Lewis has left the building, eliminated at the hands of Ryan D'Angelo. Lewis flopped a flush draw and went with it while D'Angelo called with top-pair and held it. That elimination put D'Angelo on 45,000 but he has since tripled that stack and sits behind a hefty looking 130,000.
Some of the other big stacks in the Gold Section belong to Peter Gilmore (124,000), Shankar Pillai (100,000) and Daniel Chamberlain (100,000).
Bryan Pellegrino secured his first-ever live six-figure score when he finished runner-up to Nick Jivkov in Event #5: $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em for $117,199, an event that Pellegrino went into the final table as the chip leader. We have just seen Pellegrino eliminate Petr Bartagon v to move up to 40,000.
In other news, Marvin Rettenmaier has eliminated Nicholas Verkaik, pocket aces versus pocket jacks, to move him up to 83,000, and Steven Kerr has just dragged in a nice pot to put him up to 74,000 after flopping holding to glean 10,000 from his opponent.
