Negreanu Reads His Opponent's Hand

Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-}/{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} - folded

Daniel Negreanu jumped right into playing a pot and chatting with his tablemates.

"I' guess I'm not getting a two," he told his opponent, who showed a pair on the board. Negreanu bet on fourth street and his opponent called. He bet again on fifth street.

"You're drawing to an eight. See how I know that," Negreanu said. His opponent eventually released his hand and Negreanu began his tournament by dragging in a pot.
