Josh Beckley Eliminates a Player

Level 8 : 600/1, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha:

Chance Kornuth raised to 1,200. Josh Beckley called on the button, as did the player in the big blind.

The flop was {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, and the big blind moved all in for his last 600. Both Kornuth and Beckley called.

The pair checked down the {4-Diamonds} turn and the {6-Spades} river, and all the cards were turned over.

All-in player: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Kornuth: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Beckley: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Hearts}

"Don't tell me we chop," Kornuth said to the all-in player before Beckley turned his hand over.

"Slowroll!" joked Beckley, taking the pot with a pair of tens and eliminating a player.

Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs} / {x-}

A player completed with the {6-Clubs} before Daniel Negreanu raised. His opponent called. Randy Ohel Eliminates a Player

Level 7 : 500/1, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha:

Randy Ohel raised to 600 from middle position, and the hijack three-bet to 2,100. Ohel called, and the flop was {10-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Ohel bet 4,000, and his opponent raised all in. Ohel quickly called.

Ohel: {8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Hijack: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The turn was the {6-Spades} and the river the {5-Spades}, meaning Ohel's two pair, jacks and sevens, was good enough to eliminate his opponent.

Chris Ferguson Eliminated by Adam Thoutt

Level 7 : 500/1, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud:

Thoutt: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} / {x-}
Ferguson: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} / {x-},
Player 3: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Hearts} / {x-}

On fifth street Adam Thoutt checked to Chris Ferguson, who bet. Another player called, as did Thoutt. On sixth street, Thoutt bet, and Ferguson was all in for his last 500. The third player in the hand called. Thoutt bet on seventh street, and the other player called before all hands were turned over.

The third player in the hand showed {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} for trip eights, but Thoutt beat that with {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a flush. Ferguson showed {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for trip queens and was eliminated. Thoutt took down the pot with his flush and moved up to 15,000.

Chris Ferguson Loses Some

Level 7 : 500/1, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em:

Chris Ferguson, who was one of the later registrants into this tournament, raised from the cutoff, and the big blind defended.

The flop was {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades}, and the big blind check-called a bet from the five-time bracelet winner. The turn was the {a-Hearts}, and again, the big blind check-called a bet from Ferguson.

Both players checked the {k-Diamonds} on the river.

"King," announced the big blind, showing {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Ferguson checked and rechecked his hole cards before mucking.
