The Master is on a Heater

Just an orbit after doubling through Justin Bonomo, Men "The Master" Nguyen did it again. This time through Jeremiah DeGreef.

Nguyen's preflop raise got called by DeGreef from the button and Tony Antonius from the small blind. On a flop of {Q-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {6-Spades}, Nguyen bet 80,000 and only DeGreef called. The two went heads up to the turn, where Nguyen counted out his remaining chips and then checked the {A-Clubs}. DeGreef wasted no time pushing all in and almost cringed when Nguyen announced "All you can eat, baby."

DeGreef tabled {Q-Spades} {K-Hearts} and Nguyen turned over {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} for three of a kind. When the {4-Clubs} hit the river, Nguyen took the pot and is now up to around 380,000.

Bonomo Tries to Help a Friend

Justin Bonomo raised to 32,000 from the button and then Men "The Master" Nguyen moved all in from the small blind for 90,000. Matt Graham jumped up and announced that he was running to the bathroom as action fell back on Bonomo. Jack Schanbacher also went to the bathroom. In an attempt to stall for their bathroom break, Bonomo tanked so Graham wouldn't have to miss a hand.

About 30-40 seconds later, Graham and Schanbacher came running back into the room. "You have no idea how good a friend I am," said Bonomo and then made the call.

Showdown:
Nguyen: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}
Bonomo: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}

Schanbacher mentioned that Graham told him in the bathroom that Bonomo probably has aces.

The flop was huge for Nguyen when it came {K-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {5-Spades}. The turn was the {4-Spades} and then the river the {9-Hearts}. The Master doubled up, but didn't say too much about the slowroll from Bonomo. Bonomo looked at Graham and said, "I hate you," jokingly and then explained that he did it so Graham wouldn't have to miss a hand.

Pilgrim Doubles Through Mizrachi

On the very next hand, Justin Bonomo raised again from middle position and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi called. Dwyte Pilgrim was in the small blind this hand and called.

The flop was {7-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} and Pilgrim moved all in for about 120,000 total. Bonomo folded, but Mizrachi made the call. The Grinder held pocket fours, but was behind Pilgrim's {6-Clubs} {2-Clubs}.

The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} giving Mizrachi some more outs, but the river was the {6-Spades}. Pilgrim was able to double back up to around 275,000.

Mizrachi Catches Pilgrim's Bluff

From late position, Justin Bonomo opened the action for 32,000 and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi called on the button. Dwyte Pilgrim also called from the big blind. The three took a flop of {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} and action checked to The Grinder.

Mizrachi bet 30,000, Pilgrim raised to 90,000, and Bonomo folded. Mizrachi made the call.

The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and both players checked. After the river fell the {2-Diamonds}, Pilgrim fired 110,000. Mizrachi saw right through Pilgrim and made the call with {9-Spades} {8-Spades} for bottom full house. Pilgrim mucked his hand.

Men Survives an All In

Jack Schanbacher raised to 30,000 and Men "The Master" Nguyen reraised all in for 124,000. He was quickly called by Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and, after Schanbacher got out of the way, the hands were revealed.

Mizrachi tabled {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}, which dominated Nguyen's {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}. The Master said he needed to get lucky, and the flop certainly helped, bringing the {9-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {8-Spades} for an up and down straight draw. The {9-Clubs} on the turn and {10-Spades} gave both players two pair with an ace kicker, and they chopped the pot.

Men's response: "You lucky Mike! You lucky."

Bert Fujisaki Eliminated in 10th Place ($20,181)

Bert Fujisaki
Bert Fujisaki is our first exit from the final table.

Fujisaki, who'd been a short stack all day, pushed preflop with {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} and was dominated by Jack Schanbacher's {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}. A board of {8-Spades} {2-Spades} {7-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {J-Hearts} provided no miracles, and Fujisaki left in 10th place, collecting more than $20,000 for his play.
