Landry was in pretty good shape but not after Nguyen hit the flop. Suddenly Landry needed an ace to stay alive. The on the turn gave him some straight outs, but the on the river completely missed and he was eliminated in 22nd place. Nguyen is now up to 1 million.
Jonathan Thomas moved all in for his last 90,000 with and was called down by the . While the made things interesting, the turn and river did not. Thomas was eliminated in 23rd place while White built his stack up to 240,000.
Kurt Jewell raised to 27,000 from the hijack only to have La Sengphet move all in for 167,000 on the button. Both blinds folded and Jewell made the call:
