A Few More Chips for Shabou

Joseph Sanders makes a raise from early position and then calls a reraise from Nadim Shabou in the cut off. The flops comes {J-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. Joseph check-calls a bet from Nadim before the turn comes {7-Hearts}. Once more Jospeh check calls another bet from Nadim before the river is dealt as {J-Hearts}. Both players check it through and the {A-Spades} {K-Spades} is enough to beat Joseph's {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} for the pot.

Nadim has around 55,000 after this pot.

Broaddus Can't Catch Up

After getting all his chips in preflop, Gary Broaddus had to watch Vinny Vinh and Ivan Schertzer as they built a side pot. After the flop came {9-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Schertzer bet from the big blind and Vinh called. The {7-Spades} hit the turn and again Schertzer led out and was called. The river was the {K-Clubs} and Schertzer checked to Vinh. Vinh bet and was called and VInh tabled {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, both of his opponents mucked their hands and Vinh stacked his chips as Broaddus left the table.
