Jason Somerville Wins a Monster to Advance

Jason Somerville
Jason Somerville
Talk about your monster flops. Jason Somerville and Chris Klodnicki got all in on a flop of {6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Klodnicki: {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Somerville: {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Klodnicki had flopped the nut straight with the straight flush redraw while Somerville held middle pair and the second nut flush draw, which connected when the {2-Hearts} came on the turn. Klodnicki couldn't find his one-outer when the {4-Clubs} spiked on the river, sending Somerville to the final table.

Fuller Out; Heads Up on 67

Thomas Fuller - Out
Thomas Fuller - Out
Thomas Fuller was all in before the flop for his last ~85,000 chips. Fan favorite Jason Somerville was the man who looked him up, putting Fuller's tournament life in doubt.

Showdown
Fuller: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}
Somerville: {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs}

The community cards ran out {4-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {J-Spades} {9-Diamonds}, and Somerville's pair wins the race. With his set of nines, he has dealt the final blow to Thomas Fuller.

Somerville is now heads up with Chris Klodnicki, enjoying a 310,000 to 140,000 chip lead.

Jeff Carris Makes the Final Table

Jeff Carris
Jeff Carris
The flop was kind to Jeff Carris and the river was kinder.

He and Rajesh Vorha got all on the turn with a board of {5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Clubs} when their hands were turned up.

Carris: {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Vorha: {6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

When the river paired the board with the {5-Spades}, Carris made his boat and advanced to the final table.

Josh Tieman Advances

Josh Tieman
Josh Tieman
Jeff Siegal's boat just wasn't big enough for heads-up play.

On a flop of {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, Siegal led out and got called by Josh Tieman. The {J-Clubs} on the turn brought another bet and call, and when Siegal shoved on the river, he likely didn't want Tieman to call. Which he did.

Siegal showed {K-?}{3-?} for a small boat which quickly got sunk by Tieman's {J-?}{6-?}.

Jelinek Eliminated; Cutler Advances

Joseph Cutler - Advances
Joseph Cutler - Advances
We were heads up on Table 64, and now we've found our second winner of the night.

On a flop of {10-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {J-Spades}, action was on Joseph Cutler. He checked, and his opponent Petr Jelinek put out a bet. Cutler check-raised, and Jelinek moved all in. Before his hands were even off of his chips, Cutler made the call to put Jelinek at risk.

Showdown
Cutler: {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}
Jelinek: {K-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}

Jelinek was working with a double-gutshot straight draw, but those were his only outs after running into Cutler's top set. The turn was a blank {4-Hearts}, and the {7-Diamonds} that hit the river meant the end of Petr Jelinek.

After winning his table, Joseph Cutler has earned himself a spot at tomorrow's final table.

Brian Saltus Crippled; Eliminated

Brian Saltus - Out
Brian Saltus - Out
It took two hands for Jeff Carris to eliminate Brian Saltus.

The damage happened in the first hand when they got all in on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Carris was holding {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a set while Saltus had {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for bottom pair and a flush draw which didn't come when the turn and river brought the {J-Spades} and {Q-Spades}.

After that, Saltus had just 28,000 left and pushed in blind on the next two hands before being eliminated by Carris.

Tang Gets Powdered

Gary Tang - Out
Gary Tang - Out
Our last four-handed table is four-handed no more. Before the flop, Gary Tang was all in with {6-Spades} {6-Clubs}, but he ran head-first into the {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} of Andrew Margolis who had him covered.

The board ran out {4-Spades} {J-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {7-Hearts}, and Margolis' set of aces was plenty good to do the trick. He has eliminated Tang, and that table is finally three-handed.

Andrew Margolis - 285,000
Jan Skampa - 130,000
Ronnie Chin - 35,000
