Duthie vs. Doudney: Duthie Tearing it Up

Nathan Doudney is bleeding chips thanks to a very impressive match by John Duthie to this point. A few hands ago, Doudney raised to 70,000 preflop, only to check-fold to a flop bet from Duthie.

Two hands later, Doudney raised to 40,000, then folded to a reraise.

On the next hand, Doudney led out on the flop, then called a 4x raise. On the turn, Duthie bet again, and Doudney folded away his hand once more.

In the last pot, Doudney bet 225,000 on the turn. Duthie raised it up to 1,025,000, and Doundey once again folded.

After a flurry of jabs, John Duthie has taken control of this match with more than a two-to-one chip lead.

Stokes vs. Wolpert: A Leg Up

Each player had committed 125,000 to the pot preflop, and the dealer ran the first three community cards: {A-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}. Jamin Stokes led out with a bet of 160,000, and Leo Wolpert quickly called.

The turn was the {J-Spades}, and the river the {4-Spades} with both players check-checking it down. At showdown, Stokes shook his head a bit, and with a shrug, tabled {K-Clubs} {8-Clubs}.

Wolpert mumbled something along the lines of, "I played it so wrong," and he open-mucked {8-?} {9-?}. With that, Jamin Stokes has just edged into the slight chip lead.

Duthie vs. Doudney: "He Folds an Ace!"

Nathan Doudney limped in from the button, and John Duthie tapped the table out of the big blind.

The flop came out {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {A-Diamonds}, and Duthie checked. Doudney laid out a quick bet of 35,000, and Duthie wasted little time folding. As he did, he intentionally flashed his bottom card at Doudney.

"Wow... he folds an ace!" Doudney said to his opponent. Duthie just shrugged and it was on to the next hand.
