The flop came down {Q-Spades} {9-Spades} {6-Hearts}. Evdakov led out, Seidel raised and Evdakov called. The turn was the {A-Diamonds} and Evdakov fired again. Seidel flat-called and they went to the river, which fell the {8-Spades}. Evdakov checked, Seidel bet and Evdakov called.

Evdakov turned up {J-?} {J-?}, but Seidel showed {A-Spades} {3-Spades}, having hit top pair on the turn and a flush on the river to win the pot.

Recent Eliminatations

Yan Chen was one of the early short stacks in the $50,000 HORSE event but managed to fight back valiantly late last night and early today. However his run just came to an end as he couldn't find a double up and was sent to the rail by Howard Lederer.

On a nearby table Yoshio Nakano was also eliminated.

Play Slows

While we've certainly had quite a few high-profile bustouts recently, the play in general appears to have slowed up over the last level or so with less noteworthy action to report.

Hopefully the players get a caffeine hit and find a little more life in the final two hours of play for the day.
