When we reached the table, Phil Hellmuth and Phil Ivey were heads up with the board reading . Both players checked.
The turn was the , and Hellmuth led for 1,000. Ivey raised to 3,000, and Hellmuth quickly moved all in. Ivey thought for a moment before folding, leaving himself with just 5,500 chips.
A few tables have been whittled down to three players and quite a few have four players remaining. Very few are still seated with nine or eight players, but most tables have six players.
Action folded around to Andy Frankenberger in the small blind and he raised but then Michael Dwyer moved all in from the big blind. Frankenberger called and the hands were tabled.

The board ran and the current 3rd place player on the 2012 WSOP POY race was eliminated.
There is a dead stack on Table 8 that belongs to Mr. Phil Ivey. After running his stack up to around 13,000, Ivey headed over to Day 2 of Event 35: $2,500 Mixed Hold'em. He's missed every hand of both Levels 3 and 4 thus far - until now.
Event 35 is on break, so Ivey can get a few hands in over here.
There's also a dead stack on Table 25, where Mickey "mement_mori" Peterson is playing three-handed against two other opponents. The stack is well over 9,000, so the player was once sitting there, but it's been unmanned for a while, and Peterson and his three opponents are benefitting from the free blinds and antes.
A player opened to 1,200 from early position, and at the same time, another player (on his direct left) tried to move all in. The gentleman claims that he didn't see the raise in front, so when he saw the raise, he pulled the chips back.
The floor was called, and they said that since he didn't release his stack, the player was allowed to pull the bet back. They issued a warning however, and if the player did this again, they'd commit his chips.
The action folded to David Pham, who called out of the blinds. The dealer fanned , and Pham checked. The original raised continued for 1,100, and Pham check-raised to 3,300. The player moved all in, and Pham quickly called.

The turn and river came , respectively, and Pham was eliminated.
We caught up with this hand on the river. There was already over 10,000 in the pot between Daniel Negreanu and Ryan D'Angelo. The board showed and D'Angelo bet enough to put Negreanu all in.
Negreanu spent a good amount of time in the tank considering his action. Ultimately, he folded and is down to around 6,000.
