Yau Doubles Up Then Doubles Up Csampai

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ethan Yau
Ethan Yau

Ethan Yau opened to 5,000 from under the gun and it folded to the button who three-bet to 17,000. The blinds got out of the way and Yau moved all in for 45,000 total, which the button called to put Yau at risk.

Ethan Yau: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The board was a sweaty one for Yau as it came {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}, but when the turn and river fell {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} the queens held up for a full double.

Yau wouldn't be able to enjoy his newly acquired chips for long as on the very next hand action folded to the Peter Csampai in the small blind who limped in and Yau moved all in, covering the 52,500 stack of Csampai, who snap-called.

Peter Csampai: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Ethan Yau: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

It was a flip situation and when the board ran out {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, it was the ace-king for Csampai that scored the pot and full double up off Yau.

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a three-way pot with 25,000 in the middle on a flop of {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, Dan Shak checked from the big blind and Anton Bojaj checked from the hijack. Vikenty Shegal bet out 6,500 in the cutoff and only Bojaj came along to the {k-Spades} turn.

Both players checked their options to the {7-Hearts} river and Bojaj elected to lead out for 25,000. Shegal went in the tank, but after close to 30 seconds, made the fold and the pot was shipped to Bojaj.

Hu Doubles Through Miller; Lim Takes From Lonis

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Anthony Hu got his last 49,000 into the middle and James Miller was the one to put him at risk. The cards were already turned over and the dealer was ready to go.

Anthony Hu: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
James Miller: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Miller flopped a pair of aces, but Hu spiked a set of kings on the river to secure the double.

Elsewhere in the room, action was heads up with around 20,000 in the middle and {6-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} on the board when Andrew Lim check-called a 9,000 bet from Jesse Lonis. Both players checked the {7-Diamonds} river and Lim turned over {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} to take the pot with a pair of sixes.

Jackson's Rockets Get Cracked By Maguire

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
David Jackson
David Jackson

The action was picked up when an early position player opened to 5,500 and Clayton Maguire three-bet to 15,000 next to act. David Jackson in middle position took a moment before moving all in for 49,000 total and it folded back to the initial raiser who quickly folded. Maguire asked for a count, but after a few seconds of thought, made the call and the cards were shown.

David Jackson: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Clayton Maguire: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

Jackson found himself in great shape, but when the board ran out {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, it was the rivered flush for Maguire that scored the pot and sent Jackson to the rail.

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Ren Lin raised to 5,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Andrew Lim for a raise to 21,000 from the big blind. Lin tossed out the chips to call and the flop was {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

Lim changed gears on the turn and bet 35,000 to a quick call from Lin.

The river was {4-Diamonds} and Lim fired 45,000, but Lin raised to 121,000. Lim leaned forward and sent into the tank for several minutes before he tossed out the chips to call.

"Nice hand," Lin said as he showed {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Lim turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to take the pot with ace-high.
