Greenstein Out

Barry Greenstein, Nick Harvalis and a player in early position all checked a {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop and the dealer turned the {8-Diamonds}.

Greenstein checked again but Harvalis bet 4,800. The early-position player folded and Greenstein moved all in for about 10,000. Harvalis called and the hands were tabled.

Showdown
Greenstein: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}
Opponent: {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}

Greenstein needed a spade or a seven on the river, but received neither when the {5-Clubs} fell giving him a useless pair and sending him to the rail.

Harvalis is now up to 53,000 chips and a signed copy of Ace on the River.

Hinkle Halted By Set

Grant Hinkle
Grant Hinkle

In a raised pot David Benefield led out for 2,200 on a {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop only to get raised by Grant Hinkle to 5,300.

Benefield bumped it to 14,800 only to have Hinkle move all in for roughly 20,000. Benefield made the call and we were off to a showdown.

Hinkle: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Benefield: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The turn and river blanked out for Hinkle as it fell the {6-Clubs} and {A-Spades} to see him hit the rail as Benefield soars to 83,000 in chips.

Cole's Boo Boo

With the board reading {6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Corwin Cole checked to an opponent who bet 5,800. Cole moved all in for effectively 30,600 and his opponent called.

Showdown
Cole: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Opponent: {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} keeping Cole alive but the river was the {A-Hearts} and Cole doubled his opponent.

After the misread Cole is left with just 26,000 chips.

Vedes Vanquished

Tommy Vedes in action before elimination
Tommy Vedes in action before elimination

Tommy Vedes found himself all in preflop holding a dominating {A-}{J-} against his opponent's {A-}{4-}.

Unfortunately for Vedes a four would land on the flop to send him to the rail.

Obrestad Binks Straight

"Binking straights is an easy game for me!"
"Binking straights is an easy game for me!"

A short-stacked player moved all in preflop and Annette Obrestad made the call from the small blind.

Obrestad: {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

"I never lose with Jack-Eight . . . just so you know" stated Obrestad.

The dealer spread the {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop and then the {3-Diamonds} on the turn.

"Seven?" asked Obrestad as the dealer burned and turned the {7-Hearts} on the river.

"Bink!" added Obrestad in a polite tone as she raked in the pot to send her opponent to the rail and her stack up to 18,000 in chips.

Ladies For Klinghammer

Chris Moorman opened to 1,700 from under the gun only to have Klinghammer Thibaut three-bet to 4,600 next to act.

An opponent in the small blind made the call as Moorman folded as the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} flop was spread.

Thibaut fired out 7,000 and was check-called before both players checked down the {K-Spades} and {4-Spades} on the turn and river.

Thibaut tabled his {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and took down the pot to move close to 59,000 in chips.
