Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Pot-Limit Omaha

On the flop of {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and Daniel Ospina got all the money in. Mizrachi checked the flop, Ospina shoved and Mizrachi called. Mizrachi held the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Ospina the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and the river the {7-Diamonds}. Mizrachi's trip eights were the best hand and he had the most chips. Ospina was sent to the rail while Mizrachi improved to 49,000 in chips.

Siever Sends Cordovez Packing

Stud 8/b

Scott Seiver: {2-Spades}{4-Clubs} / {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades} / {3-Hearts}
Diego Cordovez: {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} / {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} / {2-Diamonds}

Seiver had called a raise from Cordovez on third street and raised Cordovez's bet on fourth street. Cordovez responded by re-raising all in and Seiver made the call again.

Seiver ended up making a wheel by the river, which was good enough for a scoop. Seiver had been slipping in chips but he's now back up over 100,000.

Alioto Doubles

Dario Alioto
Dario Alioto

Stud-8

Dario Alioto: ({K-Clubs})({K-Spades}) / {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs} / ({6-Clubs})
Kirill Rabtsov: ({A-Hearts})({A-Spades}) / {Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{K-Hearts} / ({4-Diamonds})

Alioto was all in by fourth street when we picked up the action. He ended up making two pair, kings and tens, on sixth street and his opponent, Rabtsov, couldn't spike anything better than just a pair of aces. Coming from behind to double up, Alioto now has 49,000 in chips while Rabtsov dropped to 95,000.

Golser Checks Out

Stud

Kirill Rabtsov: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} / {q-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} / {4-Hearts}
Marcus Golser: (X)(X) / {3-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} / (X)

We arrived at the scene of the bust to see Golser call bets from Rabtsov on fifth, sixth and seventh streets, with the last call putting him all in.

Rabtsov tabled a pair of queens which was good enough to knock out Golser, who mucked his cards.

Lunkin Times Three

Omaha 8/b

Christopher Amaral made a late position raise and was called by Matthew Vengrin on the button and Vitaly Lunkin in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} Lunkin put his last 2,900 into the middle with both Vengrin and Amaral calling.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} and action was checked to the river, which brought the {j-Spades}. Amaral made a bet and was called by Vengrin.

Vengrin showed {3-Spades}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs} but it was no good against Lunkin's higher flush with {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}. What Amaral had will remain a mystery. He mucked his hand and Lunkin tripled up.
