PokerChamps uses a 'no flop, no drop' policy, meaning they do not take out any rake from pots where there was no flop. The rake is set at a maximum of 5% on all types of games and has a maximum amount capped at $3. In Pot-Limit and No-Limit games the rake is 5%, and reaches a maximum of between $0.50 and $3 depending on the number of players at the table.

Player Traffic
Poker Champs is brand new but poker traffic is already very reasonable, no shortage of Hold 'Em games available. Recently Omaha and Sit & Go tournaments have been introduced, attracting new players. The "Gus Hansen factor" is always going to supply a regular fan base of players here, and this could become one of the most popular poker rooms around in time.
If you are a PokerChamps player, please join the community of room fans in Poker Champs forum.
Playability
You can find an extensive guide to PokerChamps in our Poker Strategy section - How To Play at PokerChamps
Software and Extra Features
Want to play Gus Hansen online? This is the place to find him, his very own poker room. The software here is very nice and very smooth. No individual windows popping up or overlapping when multi tabling. Control all tables and lobby from one window.
Split Screen Mode - One, two, four or six tables are now viewable at once at Poker Champs. Large screen resolutions are needed for 4 and 6 table play but two tables should be easily playable for most screens. There is also a large single table view option, ideal if you find the smaller view hard to see.
Remember Last Hand - Did you forget the hand you just folded and wonder if it was a winner or bad beat? With this feature the folded hand stays in view (but much smaller than the hands in play) so you can check back on how the hand would of done.
Rake Display - Most real money cash games will incur a rake fee, this in turn adds bonus points to your account for rake back on Friday's. If you want to see how much rake is take from any one pot, move your mouse over the pot in the center of the table, the rake amount at that time will be displayed.
Customer Service
Currently, support is available via email. Their response time is fairly quick but more difficult answers may need to be forwarded to a specific department (e.g. Security, Games or Management.) Their website www.pokerchamps.com is very informative and covers all of the important topics and any current bonus offers they may be running.
