Ward Eliminated by Ruha

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The pot already had around 80,000 and the flop read {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

The player under the gun had 38,000 in front of him. Martyn Ward had moved all in for 194,000 from middle position. Sam Ruha had shoved from the small blind for 480,000 and had the player under the gun covered.

Eventually the player under the gun folded and announced he had aces after the players tabled their cards.

Sam Ruha: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Martyn Ward: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Ward had flopped top pair and a flush draw but was behind to Ruha's flopped set of sixes. No help would come from the {2-Spades} on the turn or {10-Spades} on the river and Ward was sent to the rail.

Lynskey Gives Nothing Away Before Eliminating Sheils

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Alex Lynskey
Alex Lynskey

Brandon Sheils raised from the cutoff before Alex Lynskey re-raised from the small blind. Sheils called.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Lynskey bet a quarter of the pot. Sheils called.

Both players checked the {7-Spades} on the turn before the {6-Hearts} completed the board.

Lynskey then moved all in for 600,000 which had Sheils' stack of 250,000 covered. Sheils went into the tank for several minutes.

"What you got Alex? I need some help," Sheils begged, trying to get something out of Lynskey.

"Argh. So gross," Sheils added. "Thoughts my man? Come on," he added.

Sheils kept going asking Lynskey a series of questions all whilst Lynskey sat motionless staring at the board.

"If you want me to hero call with ace-high you'll need to talk me into it," continued Shiels.

"When is the next pay jump? Oh there's one soon," joked Sheils.

Eventually Andrew Scarf called time and Sheils was given 40 seconds to make a decision.

The clock counted down to just a few seconds remaining and Sheils called.

Lynskey then tabled {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a full house and took down the pot after Sheils flashed his {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for two pair.

"That's why you were so relaxed," said Suzy Khoueis following the hand.

Both Sheils and Lynskey discussed the hand for a little after the hand before Sheils made his way to the cashier's desk.

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The action folded around to Mladen Vukovic in the small blind who shipped forward a stack of 25,000-chips. The bet was to force Sam Capra in the big blind to a decision.

"That's good enough," said Capra after looking down at his cards, and called for his remaining 58,000.

Sam Capra: {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Mladen Vukovic: {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs} improving Capra to two pair on the flop resulting in a much needed double-up.
