Peter DeSantis has had a crazy day but has ended up on the positive side of things going into the next break.
He explained how he raised preflop with pocket sevens and got one caller. The flop came seven-high and his opponent called his all in, tabling pocket jacks.
DeSantis held up and is now sitting on a healthy stack again.
Lee Sylvester and Varun Palackan were both chopped down to short stacks but have also both clawed their way back. The interesting part about this is that Sylvester made his comeback through Palackan and left him with one big blind. Immediately after this, Palackan went on a heater of his own.
Sylvester got his chips in the middle with ace-five against Palackan's ace-queen. The river was a five, giving Sylvester a much needed double up. Shortly after, Sylvester picked up pocket jacks and Palackan tried to knock him out with nines, but Sylvester flopped a set and it held.
Palackan was left with one big blind and doubled up twice. In the first hand he held and went up against . He backed into a flush for the first double. The next hand he picked up pocket aces and got a call from the big blind with , giving him his second double up.
