Do you have a PokerStars account? Did you create that PokerStars account via PokerNews’ links and enter our marketing codes when creating it? Did you make your first deposit in 2016 or 2017?

PokerNews and PokerStars have come together to give PokerNews readers the chance to play for a share of $2,500 every month via a PokerNews-exclusive freeroll. These freerolls shuffle up and deal at 3:05 p.m. ET / 9:05 p.m. CET on the following dates:

As you can see, the next PokerNews $2,500 Depositors Freeroll is only a couple of days away on April 9, which means you need to hurry if you want to play in it and try to win a slice of the $2,500 prize pool.

Thankfully, making yourself eligible for this tournament and the other eight on the list, is easy to do and does not require you to jump through hoops. Here’s all that is required from you:

  • Click here to open PokerStars in a new tab
  • Sign up for a free account
  • Enter the marketing code "PNEWS"
  • Use the code "STARS600" at your first deposit
  • Register for the event once your ticket is credited

Once you have completed those simple steps, you can play in all of the $2,500 Depositor Freerolls as long as you made your first deposit during 2016 or 2017.

All eligible players will have a ticket credited to their account on the Friday before the tournament begins. Should you believe you are eligible but do not have a ticket, please contact the PokerStars support team and they will investigate immediately.

It’s not everyday that you get to play for a share of $2,500 for free, but thanks to PokerNews and PokerStars, it is possible to get your hands on some free cash every month for the remainder of the year.
