The PokerStars Championship Sochi is right around the corner at Sochi Casino and Resort May 21-30.

The schedule features many exciting events and is highlighted by the PokerStars Championship Sochi Main Event on May 25-31. The tournament is tagged with a RUB 318,000 ($5,590) buy-in and guarantees to pay out at least RUB 150 million ($2.6 million) to players cashing in the tournament.

PokerStars has been hosting many online satellites and feeder tournaments to this amazing event. One to keep an eye on specifically for players from Russia and CIS is the 20 [Seat + Expenses] to the Main Event Sochi Championship on April 30 at 12:30 p.m. ET, which will pay out at least 20 packages each valued at $6,000.

Also taking place during the poker festival is the PokerStars National Championship May 20-25. The tournament features a RUB 66,000 ($1,160) buy-in.

Similar to the Main Event, you can also qualify into the PokerStars National Championship online at PokerStars. Players from Russia and CIS who wish to qualify into this tournament for a fraction of the cost should take a look at the 50 [Seat + Expenses] to the National Championship on April 30 at 2:15 p.m. ET. The satellite costs $109 to enter and will award at least 50 packages valued at $1,400 each.
