Bestbet Jacksonville to host Spring Series March 18-28; PokerNews to Report Main Event

From March 18-28, bestbet Jacksonville will be the place to be for tournament poker. The 2021 bestbet Spring Series will feature 11 events including a $2,500 buy-in Main Event, which will start players with 25,000 in chips and play 40-minute levels.
That tournament, which will be live reported by PokerNews, will offer two starting flights with Day 1a at Noon EST on Friday, March 26 and Day 1b at the same time on Saturday, March 27. Registration for the Main Event will remain open until the start of Level 10.
The surviving players from both flights will return for Day 2 action on Sunday, March 28. The Main Event final table will be live streamed at twitch.tv/bestbetlive as well as on YouTube at bestbetLIVE.
Multi-table super satellite for the Main Event starts March 5th with single table satellites running daily upon demand.
The 2021 bestbet Spring Series will get underway with a $560 buy-in Kickoff Event that features three starting flights at Noon each draw March 18-20. The Day 2 finale, which will also be live-streamed, will play out on Sunday, March 21.
Other highlights on the schedule include Event #2: $360 Pot-Limit Omaha on Saturday, March 20; Event #5: $360 Monster Stack on Tuesday, March 23; Event #7: $360 NLH Ladies Event (live-streamed) on Wednesday, March 24; and Event #9: $360 HORSE on Saturday, March 27.

Momentum from Successful Winter Series
The 2021 bestbet Spring Series comes on the heels of January's successful 2021 bestbet Jacksonville Winter Open, an 11-event series that catered to a combined 2,330 entries and awarded $1,621,557 in prize money.
One of the biggest stories to emerge from the side events was Eddy Mroczkowski's impressive two-day performance. First, he topped a 195-entry field to win Event #4: $160 No-Limit Hold'em for $4,248 and then the next day bested 222 entries to take down Event #5: $360 NLH Monster Stack for $12,551.
In the $2,000 Main Event, 510 runners competed with Scott Stewart coming out on top to win the trophy and $177,817 first-place prize. Matt Mauldin also secured a six-figure score for finishing as runner-up for $118,422.
