Dacic Doubles Through Hopkins

Level 23 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Soon after the last 18 players were balanced over two tables, a three-bet pot emerged between [Removed:208] in the big blind and Daniel Hopkins. The flop showed {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Dacic faced the jam of Hopkins, which he eventually called for the last 330,000.

[Removed:208]: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Daniel Hopkins: {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

"Good call," Hopkins nodded and tapped the table, caught with the fingers in the cookie jar. Hopkins picked up some outs on the {Q-Hearts} turn, but the {6-Spades} river was a blank to let Dacic double.

Craig Sweden raised it up to 60,000 from early position and Daniel Hopkins pushed all in for 315,000 from one seat over. [Removed:208] in the big blind flat-called and Sweden reluctantly folded.

"Please let it be a good fold," Sweden said before the cards were tabled.

Daniel Hopkins: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
[Removed:208]: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

"That's a pretty good fold," Sweden added. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Sweden muttered "please no king or queen," and sure enough the {K-Spades} fell on the turn. Hopkins was left drawing dead, and the {10-Spades} river a mere formality.

Labat Loses a Lot to Dacic

Level 23 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mark Yi had dropped to 245,000 and three-bet shoved over an open raise by Christos Xanthopoulos, the latter folded.

Fernando Pons was also involved in the action and stole the blinds and ante once, then raise-folded to a call by Hak-Hyun Lee and a three-bet by Aleem Kanji.

Over on the other table, Antoine Labat battled with [Removed:208] and bet 75,000 out of the small blind with the turn reading {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Dacic called in the hijack and Labat then bet the {8-Clubs} river for 250,000. Dacic called once more and Labat showed the {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}, Dacic had that beat with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a set.

Sweden Doubles Through Kyriacou

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Down to just 200,000, Craig Sweden pushed for 200,000 and Christopher Kyriacou called in the big blind.

Sweden had a flip with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} against the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of Kyriacou and flopped a set on {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. The {8-Diamonds} turn gave Kyriacou a lifeline with a gutshot, but the {5-Clubs} river bricked to let Sweden double.

Hak-Hyun Lee opened the action with a raise to 80,000 and Kelly Saxby shoved for 445,000 from two seats over in the hijack. Lee asked for a count and opted to call without using a timebank.

Kelly Saxby: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Hak-Hyun Lee: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

Saxby already stood up from her chair and grabbed the smartphone, seemingly knowing of her fate. The {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop was no threat yet, but Lee picked up some further outs with the {Q-Spades} turn. The {A-Hearts} river improved Lee to superior two pair and Saxby was eliminated in 16th place for £7,000.

Yi was the player at risk for 370,000 and found no help on the board {Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} to join the rail in 15th place for £8,000.

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Antonios Onoufriou: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Lam Van Trinh: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Onoufriou doubled his short stack.

Hand #2

The very next hand, Trinh and Antoine Labat were involved in a battle of the blinds and Trinh check-called a bet of 200,000 by Labat on the {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} turn. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and went check, check. Trinh tabled {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and that won the pot.
