Valdir Cordeiro dos Santos raised to 65,000 in the cutoff and Nikolay Ponomarev called on the button. Mark Yi in the big blind three-bet for 510,000 and once again left himself 50,000 behind. Cordeiro dos Santos folded and Ponomarev asked for the bet size, then moved all in.

Yi used two time banks while checking the other table as there was a pay jump between 13th and 12th place. Scott Berko jammed against Manuel Bueno, who ended up folding. Yi then called all-in to create the following showdown:

"He limped?" Bhavin Khatri asked and Miller nodded. "Yeah, why the hell did he even look at the charts before," Miller replied, referring to a warning Habib had received while he was checking hand charts as spectator during a previously ongoing hand.
