Elisei Eliminates Hugo

Florin Elisei opened to 1,300 from under the gun and was promptly three-bet by Loustau Hugo on his left to 4,200. Carmen Zainescu took some time in the big blind before making the call, with Elisei also tossing in calling chips.

The 3♠2♦5♣ flop saw Zainescu and Elisei check to Hugo, who continued for 3,600. Elisei was the only caller to see the 5♦ turn, checking once more.

Hugo announced a bet of 14,000 and was called by Elisei to the 2♠ river. Elisei took the lead, moving all in. That was quickly called by Hugo, who showed K♠10♠.

Elisei turned over 5♥4♥ for a full house, sending Hugo to the rail while collecting a sizeable pot.

Naicu Runs Kings Into Shahar's Aces

That was followed by a quick four-bet from Shahar, with Parnica getting out of the way. Naicu then moved all in, and was quickly called.

Buican Bounces Dorinel

Radu Buican took a moment before making the call in middle position, as did Marius Gicovanu to his left. The dealer turned over the 5♠ river, with both Buican and Gicovanu checking.

Dorinel showed 4♥3♦ for a pair of fours, while Buican revealed K♦10♣ for a superior pair. Gicovanu mucked, with Buican raking in the pot as Dorinel hit the rail.

Pirvan Catalin and Alexandru Mitracu were heads up to the 4♣J♣2♦ flop with a sizeable pot already building. Mitracu led out for 6,500 from the big blind and Catalin called on the button.

The dealer turned over the Q♠ turn, with Mitracu leading out again for 18,500. Catalin called to the 5♠ river.

Mitracu fired one last time, sliding out a bet of 15,000. Catalin quickly counted out the call and moved the chips forward. Mitracu showed his bluff holding A♣7♦, while Catalin took down a massive pot after revealing J♥10♣ for a pair of jacks.

Mitracu was the first player eliminated a few hands later.
