The second of two opening day flights has concluded in the Ante Up Poker Tour Wild Horse Pass $400 Main Event. A total of 254 entries came through the Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, Arizona, to take a shot at their share of the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The Day 1b totals brought the overall number of entries for the Main Event up to 475, and the prize pool well exceeded that guarantee, with $166,250 to be paid out to the 63 money finishers in this tournament.

Todd Goodrich bagged the Day 1b chip lead, and the overall tournament chip lead, putting 411,000 chips in the bag at the end the night. Others bagging big included Robert DeFabrizio (292,000), Troy Sprungl (269,000), and Heng Chao (233,000).

The starting field of 274 entries played down to 41 players in Day 1b, and those players will join the 36 survivors of the Day 1a flight coming back for Day 2. Day 2, the final day of the tournament, will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, and play down to a winner and the $30,329 first-place prize.

The 77 remaining players will compete for 63 spots in the money, and all money finishers are guaranteed at least a min cash of $665.

Day 2 will see the field play 30-minute levels until a winner is crowned. Day 1b ended with just over 13 minutes remaining in Level 15, with the blinds at 2000/4000/4000.
