Cook Runs Into Rockets

Straight after the break, Wendy Cook decided to put her newly-found chips to work. Unfortunately the result didn't quite go to plan.

Nil Echeverria opened with a raise and Cook called from the small blind. They took a flop of {K-Clubs}

and Cook came out swinging with a bet of 3,000. Echeverria made the call.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts}

and again Cook fired, this time for 6,000. Echeverria called again and the {9-Hearts}

{9-Hearts}

hit the river.

Cook released again for 12,000 and Echeverria cringed but made the call.

Cook proudly flipped {K-Hearts}

{K-Hearts}

{2-Hearts}

but Echeverria showed {A-Clubs}

{A-Clubs}

{A-Hearts}

for the rockets to take it down. He's up to 65,000 with Cook slipping back to 45,000.
