We arrived at the table to see the player under the gun raise to 9,000 before Yuguang Li moved all in for his remaining 34,000 in chips. With the decision falling back on the original raiser, he made the call, before both players tabled their cards.

Unfortunately for Li the board of did not connect with his hand and he was sent to the rail without adding to his lead at the top of the Asia Player of the Year leaderboard.

After a raise to 9,000 by Yuanji Dai from under the gun, Kim Wittendorff flat-called in the cutoff seat and the player in the big blind moved all in for just over 45,000. Dai reshoved for more than that and Wittendorff eventually mucked his cards.

The board ran out and that was it for the short stack.
KC Wong had another short stack double through him with versus
thanks to a lucky
on the river, but the newly won chips of 16,500 plus blinds and antes didn't last long. They vanished exactly one hand later.

On a board of Eddy Liang checked his option then called when David Steicke bet out 8,500.
The completed the board and once more Liang checked. Steicke looked over at his opponents stack before sliding in a yellow tower of 5,000-chips totalling over 100,000. The bet had Liang covered but he didn't mind as he made the call shortly after.
Steicke then mucked his hand as he relinquished the pot to Liang.
With that pot Liang moves up to 130,000 in chips. Steicke drops down to 76,000.

"After all this time," Celina Lin added with a wry smile on the face and Rajeev Raut was almost apologizing with a shrug over on the table that had just featured Lin. Both players had flopped a set but the queens of Lin were no good to Raut's kings, the miracle via one outer didn't come anymore.

We just spotted PokerStars Team Pro Bryan Huang standing outside the tournament area with his head buried in his phone.
He was polite enough to tell us of his elimination.
The hand started with Huang raising to 11,000 before Alberto Gomez bumped it up to 22,000. With the decision back on Huang he moved all in for his last 78,000 and was called.
Huang tabled his and was up against Gomez’s
but would find no help as Gomez improved to a set on the flop to take down the pot.
