Mel Judah Eliminated

Mel Judah moved all in on a queen-high flop with an open-ended straight draw and was called by an opponent who produced A-Q, good for top pair, top kicker. The turn and river brought no help for Judah, who was eliminated from the tournament forty minutes into level four.

Lisandro Doubles Up

A short-stacked Jeff Lisandro moved all in pre-flop for his last 2,925 holding {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. He was called by an opponent who revealed {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

Things were looking pretty grim for Lisandro by the turn, as the board filled out {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{K-Spades}{3-Clubs}, but the {6-Spades} fell on the river giving the Italian-Australian two pair and new life heading into the second break of the day.

Tuan Lam Triples Up!

Down to his last 2,100 in chips, Tuan Lam got it all in holding {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} against Michel St. Pierre who tabled {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. A third player in the hand had called Lam's all in, but St. Pierre moved all in over the top of Lam's bet, which made the third opponent fold.

Lam flopped gold as the first three cards off the deck came {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{A-Spades} giving him top two pair. The turn and river came {3-Clubs},{9-Diamonds} and Lam's two pair would hold, tripling him up to just over 6,000 in chips.

Sunglasses and Baseball Hats

Poker wouldn't be poker without guys who wear sunglasses and baseball hats to hide their faces. Still, here in Macau, the players are only allowed to wear them while inside the roped off tournament area. If a player steps outside of the ropes for any reason, he or she must take off their sunglasses and turn their hats around backwards so that their faces can be identified by the eye in the sky.

Kelly Flynn-ished

American Kelly Flynn has just been eliminated from the main event. Flynn ran his pocket tens into the pocket aces of Nicholas Wong, in what was a 30,000+ pot. Unable to spike a ten, Flynn's run at a second APPT cash in three months came up short.
