Start-of-day chip leader Seung Soo Jeon is melting down here in Manila. He made it 11,000 to see a flop and only Renato Villanueva called.
The board ran out with Jeon firing on every street, including 50,000 chips on the river.
Villanueva took his time about it, but made the call with and was right. Jeon could only show ace-high and has fallen from grace fast here over the last few levels.
Seung Soo Jeon continues to fall apart here in Manila. After Christian Haggart raised to 12,000 and Mike Takayama called, Jeon decided to three-bet to a whopping 42,000.
It folded back to Haggart who promptly shipped it in and after Takayama folded, Jeon went deep into the tank.
He slammed the table, shifted around in his chair for a while and after a good four minutes, found a way to fold, leaving a good percentage of his dwindling stack in the middle.
One hand after losing a more than a 100,000-chip pot shoving all in with on a board only to be called by , Elan Zak got some chips back tangling with chip leader Michael Guzzardi.
Zak called a Guzzardi min-raise preflop and they both checked the flop. Zak led out for 8,000 on the turn and after Guzzardi called the river was revealed. Zak fired again, making it 12,000 and after a good couple minutes in the tank, Guzzardi called.
"You got an ace, it's good." Guzzardi said, as Zak dropped on the felt.
