Three Pair No Good

J.C Tran raised to 30,000 and Adrien Allain made the call. They saw a flop of {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {A-Spades} and Allain checked to Tran who fired 30,000. Allain quickly called.

The river brought the {Q-Diamonds} and Allain checked and again quickly called the 50,000-chip bet from Tran.

Tran flipped {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for a rivered pair of queens as his king kicker gave him the pot as Allain flashed {Q-?}{9-?}. Tran is now up to around 700,000 and starting to look very threatening.

Small Pot for Steicke

We've seen very few walks at this final table. Almost every hand is going to a flop and often a turn. That was the case when Adrien Allain opened for 35,000 and David Steicke called from the big blind. Both players checked the {k-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {5-Spades} flop. Steicke took the pot down with a bet of 33,000 after the turn came {A-Spades}.

Allain Can't Get Value

It was a curious hand between J.C. Tran and Adrien Allain. Tran opened for 30,000, then called Allain's preflop re-raise to 120,000 from the small blind. The action checked all the way down on a board of {k-Spades} {3-Spades} {10-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}, with Allain's {9-?} {9-?} being enough to drag the pot.

Chips Head Straight To Steicke

Inwook Choi completed from the small blind and David Steicke checked his option in the big blind.

{A-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} was the flop and Choi took a stab with a minimum bet of 12,000. Steicke made the call.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and both checked before the {4-Hearts} landed on the river to put a straight on board. Choi checked and Steicke fired 40,000 to force a fold from his opponent and take it down.

Another Unusual Hand

It looks like David Steicke thought he might have been able to bluff Inwook Choi out of a pot. Steicke called Choi's raise to 26,000 and then acted first on all streets. Each player checked the {k-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} flop. When the turn came {5-Diamonds}, Steicke checked again. Choi fired for 32,000 but couldn't shake the sticky Steicke.

The river was the {Q-Diamonds}, a card that filled a number of draws. Steicke led out for 54,000 and was quickly called by Choi. Steicke did not seem to have much of anything. Choi showed {Q-Spades} {2-Spades} for a pair of queens to win the pot.

Allain Tries The Check-Raise

Inwook Choi raised it up to 30,000 with David Steicke and Adrien Allain making the call.

The flop fell {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} and all three players checked to see the {5-Hearts} fall on the turn. Allain checked and Choi fired 60,000. Steicke folded but Allain put in the check-raise to 200,000. Choi quickly folded and Allain rakes in another nice pot.
