Warren Teal Eliminated in 11th Place ($14,500)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Warren Teal
Warren Teal

Kyle Cartwright opened to 60,000 in the hijack and Warren Teal re-jammed for 260,000 on the button. Cartwright called.

"A little more this time," said Teal, who had just chopped his stack of 220,000 with Cartwright the hand before when two baby aces saw three tens and a king come on board.

"I have a little better this time," said Cartwright, tabling {a-Spades}{7-Spades}. Teal showed {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

"Ace always wins here," said Cartwright in similar fashion to earlier in the afternoon. "Nice playing with you," he added.

Unfortunately for Teal, Cartwright's prediction was correct and the runout {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} brought about Teal's departure in 11th place.

Jermaine "Lion" Gerlin Eliminated in 12th Place ($14,500)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jermaine "Lion" Gerlin
Jermaine "Lion" Gerlin

On the first hand back from the break, Jermaine "Lion" Gerlin open-jammed for 185,000 and Zach Gruneberg called in the big blind after looking down at his hole cards.

Jermaine Gerlin: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Zach Gruneberg: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Gerlin picked up a pair of sevens on the flop {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} but the turn {4-Hearts} left him with just two outs to the river, neither of which came as {a-Diamonds} completed the runout. Gerlin's 12th-place finish is good for $14,500.

Maheshwar Linga Eliminated in 14th Place; Paul Petraglia Eliminated in 13th Place ($11,768)

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Maheshwar Linga
Maheshwar Linga

On the very next hand after Maheshwar Linga doubled with pocket kings, he got it in again on the button with a chance to double through Hal Rotholz in the hijack.

Maheshwar Linga: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Hal Rotholz: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Unfortunately for Linga, the board ran out {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} to give Rotholz a full house on the turn and bring about his elimination in 14th place.

A minute later, Paul Petraglia went out in 13th place after open-jamming {k-}{10-} into the {7-}{7-} of Stephen Strout and failing to win the coin flip. Strout, however, doubled Kyle Cartwright shortly thereafter to bring stacks to their current values.

Kobzyev Kyrylo Eliminated in 16th Place ($9,674)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Kobzyev Kyrylo
Kobzyev Kyrylo

Kobzyev Kyrylo open-jammed in early position and action folded around to Zach Gruneberg in the cutoff, who also announced he was all in. All remaining players folded.

Zach Gruneberg: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Kobzyev Kyrylo: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Gruneberg held on the runout {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and stacks were counted. Gruneberg's 340,000 was barely covered Kyrylo's 360,000 and he scored the double while leaving Kyrylo with just 20,000 behind that he lost a couple of hands thereafter.

Davis Busts To Bring the Redraw

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Tens Lose to Jacks
Tens Lose to Jacks

"All in," announced Todd Davis in the cutoff, shoving for around 170,000. Nate Bandy announced a call on the button and both blinds folded.

"Do you have a pair?" asked Davis as he showed {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Bandy acknowledged that he did and tabled {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Bandy picked up a gutter on the turn of a runout {7-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} but failed to improve any further on the river and was eliminated in 25th place as a result.

The tournament clock has now been paused as all seats and table rails are sanitized before players take their new seats for the three-table redraw. The new seat draw will be posted shortly.

Meet the Jacksons

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
David Jackson
David Jackson

Gloria Jackson open-jammed for her last 116,000 on the button and received action from Dustin Holladay in the small blind.

Gloria Jackson: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Dustin Holladay: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds} gave both players two pair, ultimately reducing Jackson's number of outs by one-third. No matter, she improved to fives full on the turn {5-Clubs} and held as the river {6-Hearts} completed the runout to earn her the double.

Seconds later one table over, Dom Mosley got all of his chips into the middle preflop against David Jackson.

Dom Mosley: {k-}{k-}
David Jackson: {a-}{a-}

One Jackson winning a big pot was not enough as a safe runout came on board for David Jackson to earn him the pot and knock Mosley out of the tournament. As the commotion died down, Kelly Joe Andrews was also eliminated from the same table just one hand later to bring the field down to 26.

Four Tables Remain

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Justin Zaki
Justin Zaki

Four recent eliminations has brought the field down to 31, meaning four tables now remain in play. One such recent elimination was that of Chad DeBerry, whose hand of {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} wound up no good by the river against the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} of Kyle Cartwright on a board of {j-Clubs}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

Moments earlier, Justin Zaki was eliminated by William Thomas in an all-in preflop situation as well.

Justin Zaki: {7-}{7-}
William Thomas: {k-}{q-}

Aces and tens came on the runout to counterfeit Zaki's sevens. Phuong Ta and Le Tieu were the other two to fall.

Arbaugh Puts Gerlin In

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Brian Arbaugh on Day 1
Brian Arbaugh on Day 1

Over 200,000 was already in the middle on a board reading {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} with heads-up action between Jermaine Gerlin in the big blind and Brian Arbaugh, who was in middle position.

Gerlin had checked and was in the process of putting out a stack of 5,000-chips to match Arbaugh's bet of 100,000. The river came {7-Spades} and Gerlin checked again.

"All in," announced Arbaugh, putting chips forward along with it. Gerlin then found himself put to a decision for his remaining 215,000 as Arbaugh covered. After a little over a minute in the tank, Gerlin released his cards forward.

"Nice hand," said Gerlin. Arbaugh thanked him and collected the pot, and he now has close to 700,000. Paul Petraglia also appears to have doubled recently and has a stack of 285,000 of his own.

Khavin and Thivyanathan Take Play Into the Money

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Aaron Thivyanathan
Aaron Thivyanathan

On the second hand of hand-for-hand play two all-in preflop scenarios ensued at adjacent tables with Fililpp Khavin and Aaron Thivyanathan at risk for their tournament lives.

Khavin got his stack in from the small blind with a chance to triple as Nick Raio in the big blind and Kobzyev Kyrylo on the button continued for the side pot. Raio bet 13,000 on the flop {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Kyrylo called. Both players checked the turn {5-Clubs} and the river came {10-Hearts}, where Raio check-called 37,000 from Kyrylo.

Filipp Khavin: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Kobzyev Kyrylo: {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Raio's hand was briefly exposed before it was mucked with Kyrylo eliminating Khavin as the other table's runout was now ready to go.

Aaron Thivyanathan: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Brian Arbaugh: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, with {7-Spades} and {q-Diamonds} falling behind. Thivyanathan had no diamond and lost the coin flip to result in his elimination as well. Since the two busted on the same hand, they will split 51st place's prize of $3,962, giving each a rebate of $1,981.
