Ari Engel
Ari Engel

Ari Engel raised to 12,000 from middle position and Brian Altman re-raised to 35,000 from the hijack. It folded back to Engel who called and they went heads up to the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop.

Engel check-called a bet of 20,000 from Altman and both players checked the {7-Spades} turn card. The {10-Hearts} completed the board and Engel checked to Altman who checked back.

Engel turned over his {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for top pair and Altman flashed his {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} before tossing his hand into the muck.

Donald Maloney
Donald Maloney

Donald Maloney raised to 13,000 from the cutoff and the player in the small blind re-raised to 45,000. The big blind folded and Maloney moved all in for 124,000.

His opponent snap called turning over {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} but would need to improve against the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} of Maloney.

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} and Maloney's pocket kings held up to earn him the double up with less than one level of play left in the night.

Grigoriy Shvarts
Grigoriy Shvarts

Grigoriy Shvarts raised to 16,000 from the hijack and the player on the button called. Ian O'Hara re-raised to 45,000 from the small blind and Shvarts called.

They went heads up to the {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop and both players checked. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and O'Hara checked to Shvarts who bet 35,000.

O'Hara instantly fired his hand into the muck accidentally exposing the {2-Hearts} and Shvarts took the pot.

"Nice three bet Ian" said Joe McKeehen as Shvarts stacked his chips.
