Two More Busts

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
John Tavss, the chip leader entering the day, is gone
John Tavss, the chip leader entering the day, is gone

James Gettinger raised in late position, Nick Gandhi called on the button, and Roger Lovett defended his big blind. The flop fell {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}, Lovett bet the pot, and only Gandhi called.

The turn was the {5-Hearts}, Lovett moved all in before the card hit the felt, and Gandhi tanked for a considerable amount of time before calling.

Lovett: {10-}{6-}
Gandhi: {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Lovett was ahead, and in great shape to double, but the {q-Hearts} spiked on the river to eliminate Lovett.

Over on the outer table, John Tavss was all in and at risk for 395,000 with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, but was crushed by Tom Dobrilovic's {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. The aces held on a board of {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades}, and just like that the chip leader entering the day was gone.

Paul Cathey Eliminated in 17th Place ($1,416)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

After being crippled by Michael Savino with {a-Spades}{10-Spades} against {a-}{k-}, Paul Cathey was all in and at risk with {a-Spades}{5-Spades}. He was again dominated - this time by Henry Lopez's {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, and the dominant ace held again as the board ran out {4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Bernard Liberati Eliminated in 16th Place ($1,416)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

James Gettinger raised in late position, Bernard Liberati and Bennett Ellenbogen called out of the blinds, and the dealer fanned {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Liberati and Ellenbogen both check-called a bet, and the turn brought the {10-Hearts}.

The pair checked, Gettinger fired out another 125,000, and only Liberati called.

The river was the {7-Hearts}, and Liberati immediately announced that he was all in, betting 303,000. Gettinger tanked for well over two minutes.

"Sorry," he said apologetically. "I have to think about this one."

He eventually made the decision to call, risking the vast majority of his own stack, and Liberati frowned.

"Good call he said," mucking his hand.

During his tank, Gettinger said that he had two pair, and he wasn't lying. He slammed {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} onto the felt face up, and went to celebrate with his friends on the rail.

"LET'S GOOOOO!!!" he boomed.

Liberati hit the rail, while Gettinger is up to 900,000 chips.

James Park Eliminated in 15th Place ($1,558)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

There was a series of raises before James Park moved his stack into the middle of the felt, and Alexander Loose, who started the day with one of the smallest stacks in the room, woke up with a monster and re-shoved. The rest of the players folded.

Park: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Loose: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Loose improved to quads on the {9-Clubs}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop, and the board completed {3-Spades}, {9-Spades}.

Park hit the rail in 15th, while Loose has rocketed up the counts to around 750,000 chips.

Gettinger and Ellenbogen Skirmish

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Bennett Ellenbogen raised in early position, James Gettinger defended his big blind, and the flop fell {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Gettinger check-called a bet of 45,000, both players checked after the turn brought the {5-Clubs}, and the {9-Hearts} completed the board.

Gettinger led out for 82,000, Ellenbogen raised to 200,000, and after mulling the decision over for a bit, Gettinger called.

"Ace-high," Ellenbogen announced, pushing his hand towards the muck.

Gettinger revealed {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for a pair of kings, dragging the pot.

Todd Schweitzer Eliminated in 12th Place ($1,841)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Todd Schweitzer moved all in for 107,000 in late position, Anthony Sivolella called on the button, and both players in the blinds folded.

Schweitzer: {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Sivolella: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {k-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop gave both parties a pair, but Schweitzer remained in the lead with a pair of aces. Unfortunately for him the turn was the {k-Diamonds}, giving Sivolella trips, and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board.

Schweitzer exits in 12th place, earning $1,841.
