Timothy Pirraglia Eliminated in 11th Place ($1,841)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

An extremely short-stacked Timothy Pirraglia moved all in preflop from the button, and Maggie Morris called the extra big blind or two from the big blind.

Pirraglia: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Morris: {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Morris won the unconventional flip as the board came {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, and Pirraglia hit the rail.

We are now down to a final table of 10. We will have a seat draw for you shortly.

The kings held on a board of {8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and Lopez was eliminated in a cooler.

Gettinger Folds Aces

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

James Gettinger called a preflop raise out of the big blind from Bennett Ellenbogen, who opened in early position, then led out for a bet on a flop of {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Ellenbogen raised to 145,000, Gettinger called, the turn was the {j-Spades}.

Gettinger checked, Ellenbogen moved all in for around 500,000, and Gettinger tanked for two minutes or so before folding {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} face up.

Ellenbogen mucked his hand facedown.

A Very Passive Three-Bet Pot

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Nick Gandhi raised to 51,000 in the hijack seat, Joe Stiers three-bet to 140,000 on his direct left, and both players in the blinds surrendered their forced bets.

The dealer spread a flop of {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Gandhi opted to lead out - firing 85,000 - and Stiers thought quietly before calling.

The turn was a repeat ace - the {a-Spades} - and Gandhi softly rapped the table. Stiers tossed out 75,000 - less than a fifth of the pot - and Gandhi folded.

That's Cold

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Warren Wiggins raised to 55,000 on the button, Alexander Loose re-raised to 155,000 out of the small blind, and James Gettinger put in the cold four-bet, making it 325,000 to go.

Wiggins quickly folded, unhappy with the way the hand developed, and Loose tanked for 30 seconds or so before tossing his hand forward as well.

Nick Gandhi Eliminated in 9th Place ($2,832)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Gandhi - 9th Place
Nick Gandhi - 9th Place

James Gettinger raised to 50,000 in the hijack seat, Nick Gandhi three-bet to 120,000 in the cutoff, and Bennett Ellenbogen cold-called in the small blind. Gettinger quickly got out of the way, and the dealer fanned a flop of {9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

Ellenbogen checked, Gandhi fired out a continuation bet, Ellenbogen moved all in, and Ghandi immediately called.

Ghandi: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Ellenbogen: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Ellenbogen flopped a set of jacks, but Gandhi was still alive when the turn brought the {k-Spades}. Any ace or king on the river would keep him alive and double him up, however the {6-Diamonds} was a meaningless card.

He was eliminated in ninth place, while Ellenbogen is up to 1.7 million chips.

Alexander Loose Eliminated in 8th Place ($4,249)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Alexander Loose - 8th Place
Alexander Loose - 8th Place

Alexander Loose, who started the day with the second smallest chip stack, opened for a raise in late position. Joe Stiers three-bet to 185,000 two spots to his left, Loose moved all in, and Stiers called.

Loose: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Stiers: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop was clean for Loose, but the {a-Hearts} spiked on the turn to give Stiers a leading pair of aces. Loose held the only heart, and could still win the hand with a ten or heart on the river, but the {7-Spades} bricked off, ending his tournament.

Loose was initially upset at the bust out, but then he realized the improbability of his run today, and perked up.
