Craig Bergeron
Craig Bergeron
Bruno Launais raised to 10,200 before the flop, and Craig "HU4ROLLZ" Bergeron made the call from the small blind. Heads up, the flop rolled out {J-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}. Bergeron led out with a bet of 13,300, and Launais didn't waste much time calling.

Fourth street was the {10-Clubs}, and Bergeron passed this time, and he would call a bet of 25,500. The {Q-Clubs} filled out the board to put trips out there, and both players checked. Bergeron tabled {A-Clubs} {10-Spades} for queens full of tens, and Launais couldn't believe it. He showed up {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}, his turned full house counterfeited into a chop by the third queen.

Split the chips in half and send them back to their rightful owners.

Table De-Mel-ition

Priyan de Mel has had a lovely morning, enjoying a full double up and more.

The double up came when he raised with {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} only for Adam Markovits to make it 27,500. After a moment's thought, de Mel called and saw a {K-?} {3-?} {4-?} flop. Markovits bet out 30,000 and de Mel, with only around 60,000 left to his name, went all in. Markovits called with pocket jacks, failed to improve on the {A-?} turn or {5-?} river, and de Mel doubled up.

A few hands later and Henrik Sorensen raised to 12,500 under the gun. De Mel found aces in the big blind and made it 30,000; Sorensen called. De Mel bet out 35,000 on the {3-?} {2-?} {6-?} flop - and Sorensen's ace-dar must be good, as he folded pocket queens face up.

De Mel is up to 230,000.

De Korver Doing Work

Pieter de Korver
Pieter de Korver
Frank Calo opened the pot to 10,000 on the button, and Pieter de Korver came along from the big blind.

The dealer rolled out a flop of {4-Spades} {Q-Spades} {7-Spades}, and de Korver check-called a bet of 14,500 chips. When the {7-Diamonds} paired the board on fourth street, de Korver led out into the pot with 35,000 chips. Calo called, the river came the {8-Diamonds}, and de Korver flicked out a teeny tiny bet of 10,000. Calo didn't seem to like it, but there was little choice; he called.

De Korver tabled {3-Hearts} {7-Hearts}, and his trips were good enough to earn him another nice pot. That moves the Dutch pro up to 655,100.

Carbone Not So Tough

A short stack war erupted just before the break as Michele Carbone raised from the button, only for Antony Lellouche to move in from the big blind. The dwelling from Carbone threatened to spill over into precious break time - but eventually he folded, and Lellouche picked up a few much-needed chips.
