Chouity Takes a Chunk Out of Klinger

Josef "Pepe" Klinger opened for 375,000 only for Nicolas Chouity to make it 850,000. Everyone else folded, Klinger called, and they saw a flop.

Flop: {4-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}

Klinger checked, and then called a 700,000 bet from Chouity. They saw a turn.

Turn: {3-Hearts}

Klinger checked again, and once more called the bet from Chouity, this time for 1,375,000.

River: {4-Diamonds}

Klinger checked once more, and this time the bet from Chouity was all in to cover him. Klinger thought about it, but folded.

With that, Chouity moved up to 16,785,000, the most he's had all day - and he's had a lot all day. Klinger dropped back to 3.6 million, still good enough for second place in the chip counts.

Andrew Chen Eliminated in 5th (€400,000)

Andrew Chen - 5th
Andrew Chen - 5th
The very next hand and Josef Klinger opened from the button, Andrew Chen reraised all-in from the blinds and Klinger instantly called.

Klinger: {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}
Chen: {9-Clubs} {7-Clubs}

The board came a pretty unhelpful {J-Spades} {10-Spades} {J-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and the young Canadian goes out in 5th.

"I didn't think he would be able to call with Kings," Chen was heard joking to Mike McDonald.

Herve Costa Eliminated in 4th Place (€500,000)

Costa - 4th place
Costa - 4th place
Nicolas Chouity, who had shoved the two previous hands but no-one wanted to call all in, this time just raised to 450,000. Herve Costa shoved from the button, the blinds ducked out of the way, and Chouity made the call.

Costa was ahead.

Costa: {A-Spades} {9-Hearts}
Chouity: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}

Board: an unequivocally pro-Chouity {K-Spades} {K-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {3-Hearts}

Chouity's rail went wild, and we are now three-handed.

Karmazinas Doubles Through Chouity

Nicolas Chouity raised - it seems like we've been using that phrase Nicolas Chouity raised a lot today - to 375,000 on the button, and Dominykas Karmazinas shoved from the small blind for 1.5 million. Once Chouity had done the requisite asking how much it was, he announced," Let's gamble. Call."

Karmazinas: {5-Clubs} {5-Spades}
Chouity: really gambling with {K-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}

Board: {10-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {2-Clubs}

Karmazinas doubled to over 3 million to the delight of the Lithuanian contingent at the rail, including one Mr. Tony G. Chouity however remains a massive chip leader as we head into the dinner break.

Chouity's Pie

Nicolas Chouity continues to hold dominance as we come back. He has more chips still than the other two combined and continues to add to his stack.

First he fired a bet in an unraised pot blind on blind against Dominykas Karmazinas on a {K-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {10-Hearts} board to win one pot. Then he raised from the button and fired a flop bet of 300,000 on a {Q-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} board to push Josef Klinger off his hand.

The two shorter stacks are getting pushed around early on.

Chouity Ups the Aggression Again

Wow, someone had some raising juice with their dinner.

Josef Klinger made it 380,000 from the button, but Nicolas Chouity made it 1.2 million to go from the small blind. Both big blind Dominykas Karmazinas and raiser Klinger folded, and Chouity once again took the pot.

By the by every hand that is won by Chouity is accompanied by raucous applause from his rail, and a chant of, "Oleeee, ole ole ole, Nicolaaaaaas, Nicolaaaaaaas!" It's like a Chouity party in here at the moment.
