Paur Some Sugar on Me

A flop of {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} was checked around to Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier who bet 1,600 and only Taylor Paur made the call to see the {A-Clubs} on the turn.

This time Paur check-called a bet of 2,650 and the dealer put out the {A-Hearts} on the river, Paur checked again and Elky bet 6,600 which Paur instantly called.

Grospellier showed {6-Spades}{4-Spades} but he'd been outdone as Paur had been holding {A-Spades}{K-Spades}.

Two Pair for Timex

On the {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, Martin Jacobson called a bet of 1,300 from Mike "Timex" McDonald before seeing the {5-Diamonds} come out on the turn. Jacobson checked and McDonald checked behind.

That brought the two players to the river where the {9-Spades} landed. Jacobson bet 2,800 and McDonald quickly called.

Jacobson turned up the {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for top pair, but McDonald's two pair with the {A-Clubs}{5-Spades} was the winner and he scooped in the chips.

The Why of Kitai

Davidi Kitai had raised to 550 from UTG and was called by Alexander Luber Sam Chartier, Ognjen Sekularac and Max Greenwood in the big blind.

The flop was {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and it was checked to Kitai who bet 1,450, everyone folded bar Greenwood who made a fairly speedy call to see the {2-Spades} on the turn.

Greenwood now check-called a bet of 3,300 from the Belgian before both players checked the {Q-Spades} river. Kitai sighed and showed a slightly unexpected {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} but Greenwood scooped with his two pair holding of {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}.
