Bruno Jais has had the better of a lot player today, but not the chip leader.
Paul Guichard raised to 200,000 from the cut-off and Jais defended his big blind again. Both players checked the flop before Guichard check-called a 250,000 bet on the turn when the board read . The river came and Jais tank folded to a 675,000 bet. Guichard extended his chip lead and is up to 7,750,000.
Vadzim Kursevich opened to 210,000 under the gun and Bruno Jais called on the button. Olivier Rogez called from the small blind, as did Vuong Than Trong from the big blind.
The flop fell and action checked through to Jais who bet 250,000. Only Rogez came along to see the turn where he fired 300,000, but that didn't shake Jais from the hand, who called to see the river. Rogez fired 700,000 and again, Jais called
Vuong Than Trong is gathering chips without having to showdown much. He took down two pots out of three, both with c-bets.
First up he opened to 250,000 from the small blind and Vadzim Kursevich tank called from the big blind. The flop came down and his 280,000 did the job as Kursevich folded.
Two hands later he three-bet to 480,000 after an open to 200,000 from Olivier Rogez. Rogez called but check-folded to a 480,000 bet on the flop.
