Stefano Puccilli opened to 67,000 and Olivier Busquet made the call from the blinds to see a {A-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. Busquet check-called a bet of 76,000 before both players checked the {J-Clubs} on the turn. Busquet led out for 250,000 on the river and Puccilli thought for a minute before folding.

There's been two big movers so far in this tournament and they are Balazs Botond and Busquet.

Nagel Doubles, Puccilli Crippled

Stefano Puccilli, easily the tightest player at this final table, opens to 67,000 from under the gun and the action folds all the way around to Mario Nagel in the big blind, who makes the call.

The flop comes down {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Nagel check calls an 80,000 continuation bet from the Italian. The turn is the {Q-Hearts} and Nagel checks again. Puccilli makes it 150,000 to play and Nagel takes a few moments to compose himself, takes two slight sideways glances at this opponent before announcing he is all in.

Puccilli removes his hat for what we believe to be the first time in this tournament, we weren't even aware he had hair, before staring at Nagel for 20-30 seconds and he makes the call.

Puccilli: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Nagel: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

Puccilli is a 70/30 favourite but that counts as nothing because the river is the {5-Hearts} and the German doubles up.

Puccilli Doubles Up

Olivier Busquet opened to 60,000 preflop and Mario Nagel made it 162,000 from the small blind. A crippled Stefano Puccilli called in for 99,000 from the big blind and Busquet folded.

Nagel: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Puccilli: {A-Spades}{4-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Puccilli's boat has lifted him from micro-stack to short-stack.

Baby Ace Good For Soulier

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

On a flop reading {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{A-Hearts} Fabrice Soulier lead out for 73,000 from the big blind and Belgium's Koen De Visscher made the call. The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} into the equation but both players tapped the table and checked. The river card was the {3-Spades} and Soulier bet 95,000 and De Visscher made the call.

Soulier turns over {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and scooped the pot.

Stefano Puccilli Eliminated in 7th Place (€71,500)

Stefano Puccilli
Stefano Puccilli

Stefano Puccilli has failed to recover from losing that huge hand to Mario Nagel; Olivier Busquet has finished him off.

Busquet opened to 60,000 from under the gun and when the action folded around to Puccilli on the button he three-bet shoved for an additional 199,000. Busquet made the call but did not look too happy about the fact.

Puccilli: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Busquet: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Busquet is surprisingly ahead and he extends that lead as the flop comes down {Q-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Hearts}. The {3-Clubs} on the turn did not change anything and neither did the {6-Diamonds} river. We are down to six in the EPT Campione Main Event.

Wrang Adds 700,000 To His Stack

Germany's Mario Nagel opened to 60,000 from under the gun and to his immediate left was Jannick Wrang, who is looking to become the third consecutive Danish EPT champion. Wrang three-bets to 145,000 which folded out everyone except Nagel who made the call.

Flop: {8-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}9h] - Dominik Nitsche mentioned on the commentary that this kind of flop would create a big pot and he was not wrong. Nagel initially checked then called a 175,000 continuation bet from his Danish opponent.

Turn: {A-Clubs} - Nagel checked again and then called when Wrang fired a second bullet of 325,000 creating a pot of over 1,400,000.

River: {3-Diamonds} - Nagel tapped the tabled and checked for a third time but Wrang instantly reached for chips and made it 650,000 to play! Nagel tanked for close to one minute before sending his cards back to the dealer.

You Wrang?

Jannick Wrang raised to 65,000 and Balazs Botond three-bet to 150,000 from the cutoff, Wrang made the call to see a {K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} board. Wrang check-called a bet of 175,000 and then another 245,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn to see the {10-Clubs} river.

Wrang checked a third time and Botond gave up and quickly checked back, showing {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Wrang turned over {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} to win another big pot.

Clicking It Back

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Koen De Visscher opened the betting from the cutoff seat with a min-raise to 60,000 and Fabrice Soulier made the call form the big blind. A flop that read {4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} saw Soulier initially check and De Visscher make a small continuation bet of 60,000.

Soulier then check-raised to 136,000 which seemed to confuse the commentary team who said that Soulier has nothing almost always when he makes this move, De Visscher seems to think this too because he clicks it back to 225,000 and Soulier wastes little time in folding his hand.
