David Vamplew opened for 4,800 from the cut-off and the decision was on Antonio Lafosse from Peru who asked for a count and was Vamplew told him he had 38,000 behind. As Lafosse contemplated his decision Vamplew stared him down. Lafosse reached for chips Antonio Lafosse regardless and a raise of 18,000 was enough to win him the pot.

The flop was and Bernard Guigon had checked it over to Akin Tuna who bet 66,000 the majority of Guigon’s stack. Guigon went in the tank, counting out the chips for a call from his stack. He then reassembled his stack and looked at the tournament clock. Five minutes to the break. He shook his head and released his hand. The chips were passed to Tuna.
