Day Gives it to Gulyy

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

On the turn the board showed {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and we saw Christopher Day move all in for right around 27,000 chips. Andrey Gulyy snap-called and tabled {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a set and Day was drawing dead with {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Day immediately left the room as he had no outs to beat Gulyy's hand and the river brought the {J-Hearts}.

Gulyy picked up a very decent pot and is now up over the six-figure mark.

Davies Trips Allera

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Florence Allera and Timothy Davie were heads up on a flop of {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. Davie led out for 5,200, Allera called, and the turn was the {4-Spades}. Davie led out again - this time for 9,400 - and again Allera called.

The {3-Diamonds} completed the board, Davie emptied the chamber, firing 23,100, and Allera tank-called. Davie ripped over {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a flopped set of eights, and Allera mucked her hand.

Colin Five-Bet

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

David Colin opened to 1,600 from UTG and Enrico Tau made the call in the cutoff. Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier then three-bet on the button to 4,700 and Stephen Lacey cold four-bet to 9,800 in the big blind. Colin tanked for about five minutes before making a five-bet to 17,000.

Tau and Mercier quickly folded but Lacey took five minutes himself to fold bringing to a close a hand that almost proved very exciting, but didn't.

Intense Chop

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Ruben Visser and David Sonelin just stared each other down, tanked for a while on multiple streets but eventually they ended up splitting the pot.

We caught the action preflop when Sonelin had 4,400 out in front of him while he was contemplating what to do with Visser's re-raise from the big blind to 10,200. Sonelin ended up calling and the flop brought out {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Visser bet out 7,500 and Sonelin followed up with the call. On the turn the {2-Diamonds} hit and Visser bet 13,500 and Sonelin called once more.

The river brought the {10-Hearts} and completed a possible flush draw. Both Visser and Sonelin checked and showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Raoul Refos, also seated at this table, claimed to have folded {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} while another player sighed that he had flopped a set if he would've played. Plenty of "What if," stories here at the table but in the end it was just a chop between Sonelin and Visser.

Chouity Gets Ruzicka to Fold

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

On a stacked table with Luke Schwartz and David Vamplew we just saw Nicolas Chouity and Vojtech Ruzicka battle it out preflop. When we arrived on the scene Chouity had 4,700 in front of him while Ruzicka had put in 12,200 from the big blind. Chouity eventually raised to 21,200 and that was enough to get Ruzicka to fold.

Teddy Takes a Hit

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

In one of the lat hands of Level 9, Teddy Sheringham opened to 1,700, Mark Jose three-bet all in for 9,900 from the blinds, and Sheringham instantly called.

Sheringham: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Jose: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

There was an ace in the window of the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop, along with a nine, and suddenly Jose had the lead. The legendary footballer couldn't catch up as the turn and river came {5-Clubs}, {7-Diamonds} respectively, and Jose doubled.
