Ladouceur Doesn't Dare

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Spanish super star Sergio Aido just bet out 450 on a {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop from the under the gun position. Marc-Andre Ladouceur in the cutoff made the call.

The {5-Spades} hit the turn and the same procedure was followed: Aido bet (1,200 this time around) and Ladouceur made the call.

The river brought the {7-Clubs} on the table and Aido bet out 2,800. Ladouceur thought about it for a little bit but eventually opted to fold. The PokerStars Team Online player still is up a little for the day though, he has 31,000.

Big Slick Gets it Done

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Wesley Siecker opened for 250 and found a call on the button from Florence Allera, but when the small blind folded Aram Sargsyan in the big blind made it 700 to go. His opponents were not deterred and made the call to see a three way flop of {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Sargsyan continued the aggression with a bet of 800 and again found two callers. The turn was the {q-Diamonds} which slowed everyone down as it checked around. The river was the {8-Diamonds} and again no one wanted to bet. Sargsyan turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, Siecker folded quickly but Allera seemed to nod to herself before relinquishing here cards.

Boatman Gets Bluffed

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Andreas Pitzl raised from middle position only to have Jannick Wrang three-bet to 650 from the cutoff. Barny Boatman then four-bet to 1,500 from the button, both blinds folded, and Pitzl called. Wrang came along as well as three players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, which they all checked.

After the dealer burned and turned the {9-Clubs}, Pitzl bet 500 and Wrang popped it to 3,000. Boatman thought for a solid minute before making the call, Pitzl got out of the way, and the {3-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Wrang kept the pressure on with a bet of 6,200, and it did the trick as Boatman released his hand. Wrang couldn't resist and showed the bluff with the {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

Kicker Question

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Igor Pihela opened for 300 from the cut-off and got called by Russian PokerStars qualifier Roman Korenev on the button. The blinds got out of the way and they saw a flop of {2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Pihela decided to check but made the call when Korenev bet 250. They checked the turn {4-Clubs} and the river {9-Spades}. They both seemed reluctant to turn over their cards with Pihela showing and ace which was matched by Korenev so it came down to kickers. Pihela had {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and was matched by the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} of Korenev.

Short Day For Donev

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

We just spoke kind words about Austrian chess master and live tournament grinder Ivo Donev, but unfortunately this didn't help him in the slightest. Donev was knocked out during the first level of play and Kevin Vandersmissen was kind enough to explain to us what happened.

Vandersmissen raised under the gun and five players called including Donev in the big blind. The flop brought {8-Hearts}{7-}{6-Hearts} and the blinds checked to Vandersmissen who bet 725 and [Removed:40] raised it up to 2,200 from the button.

"He snap-moved all in for 12k," Vandersmissen said about Donev, who committed all his chips with {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Vitagliano called with {5-}{4-} and his straight held up knocking out Donev in the process.
